It might also not to hurt to give [[Choi's Guide To Magic]] a read, as it goes way more in-depth.

At Level 100, we can get the Advanced Eden (Shadow) Equipment. Both sets boosts our damage slightly and gives us a bit more survivability. The new Advanced Shadow Equipment costs 20 Eden Coins to rent, but you should plenty after doing a few Quests. Unfortunately {{#icon:20307}}{{#linkitem:20307|Costume Beginner Cap}} loses it's bonuses at Level 100.

At Level 150 you can get a pretty big upgrade in form of the [[Grace Set]]. The Equipment costs 20x {{#icon:25669}}{{#linkitem:25669|Unknown Part}} per piece and in order to refine you need {{#icon:100130}}{{#linkitem:100130|Grace Refine Ticket}} which costs 10x {{#icon:25723}}{{#linkitem:25723|Cor Core}}. The set includes the sweet {{#icon:470021}}{{#linkitem:470021|<nowiki>Grace Magic Boots [1]</nowiki>}}, which reduces your FCT by 0.5s! This doesn't sound like much, but it's huge once you become a <span style="background:linear-gradient(to right, #FF0000 0%, #CE6300 25%, #248E07 50%, #ff33aa 75%, #42B5F7 100%); -webkit-background-clip:text !important; -webkit-text-fill-color:transparent;">Hyper Novices</span>. You should also get {{#icon:400246}}{{#linkitem:400246|<nowiki>Bacsojin Doll Hat-LT [1]</nowiki>}}, a headgear that further reduces your FCT by 0.5s. The reason why I recommended it over something like {{#icon:400154}}{{#linkitem:400154|<nowiki>Survival Circlet-LT [1]</nowiki>}} is because it just needs Grade C in order to make use of it. '''Do not''' {{#icon:19428}}{{#linkitem:19428|<nowiki> Illusion Morpheus's Hood [1]</nowiki>}}. This is a trap.

You can also upgrade your Shadow Weapon for a big damage boost. Get the {{#icon:24282}}{{#linkitem:24282|Super Novice Shadow Weapon}}. In combination with '''{{#skill:9}}''' at Level 10 and fully refined, it gives you 60% <span style="color:#42B5F7">Magic</span> pierce. You can get the set if you want, but it's honestly not needed.

At Level 210, get a Glacier Wand. You can craft it you want, but it's easier (and cheaper) to just buy it from other players. If you are still rocking a {{#icon:400140}}{{#linkitem:400140|Advanced Paradise Hat}}, now's time to upgrade. Grade them to {{#icon:470204}}{{#linkitem:470204|<nowiki> +9 [C] Moan of Corruption [1]</nowiki>}} to gain the full effect of its -1s FCT. For Garment, {{#icon:480125}}{{#linkitem:480125|<nowiki>+ 11 Convertible Magical Wing [1]</nowiki>}} is a solid choice, which can be further enhanced with {{#icon:450406}}{{#linkitem:450406|<nowiki> Convertible Magical Armor [1]</nowiki>}}. Keep in mind in order to reap its full benefits, either equipment needs to be +12, so it's up to you if you want to go that route.

For Shadow Gear, you can get the full Super Novice Set. = Cards =
If you want a General Overview of what Cards to use, please take a look at [[Choi%27s_Guide_To_Magic#Cards | Choi's Guide]]. It goes way more in-depth that I ever could. This section will get expanded in the future, but for now, Choi's Guide has everything you need. [[Rakugaki's PvM Hyper Novice|Rakugaki PvM Hyper Novice]] also has section worth reading.
= Leveling =
This is the part that is going to be the most painful as a Novice. Novice and Super Novice have a rough time in the early game, due their lack of actual damaging Skills. I highly, HIGHLY recommend getting {{#icon:550080}}{{#linkitem:550080|<nowiki>Freedom Stick [2]</nowiki>}}. This staff will abllow you to cast Psychic Wave Level 3 when it's refined to +9, however the problem is that getting it is RNG and not many people sell it. If you can get it, get it. Preferably reform it and get it to {{#icon:550081}}{{#linkitem:550081|<nowiki>+9 Patent Freedom Stick [2]</nowiki>}}. If you cannot get it, Leveling from 150 ~ 200 will almost be impossible.
== Level 1 - 45 ==
Do the Starting Quest! Completing it will reward you with a {{#icon:7803}}{{#linkitem:7803|<nowiki>Novice Battle Manual</nowiki>}}, which will boost your EXP by 200%. Once you're a in the Main Office, go to Ant Hell and kill 1 Ant Egg to reach Level 10. Go to Eden and get your Eden Starting Equipment (remember to pick {{#icon:510035}}{{#linkitem:510035|Paradise Dagger}}) and go back to Ant Hell until you reach Level 14. At Level 14, go back to Eden to accept the Payon Dungeon Quests from the 1~39 Mission Board. Now start whacking Skeletons and Zombies. '''MAKE SURE NOT TO KILL TO MANY MOBS! IF AN EXP EVENT IS ACTIVE, POP YOUR {{#icon:7803}}{{#linkitem:7803|<nowiki>Novice Battle Manual</nowiki>}} BEFORE REACHING LEVEL 40.''' After killing 10x Zombies and 20x Skeletons, you should be Level 38. Go back to Eden and pop your {{#icon:7803}}{{#linkitem:7803|<nowiki>Novice Battle Manual</nowiki>}} and turn-in the quest. Before going back to the Main Office, go get {{#icon:550040}}{{#linkitem:550040|Paradise Super Novice Staff}}. After that, go to the Main Office and change to a Super Novice. Go to the right and accept the Poring Village Quest instance from the Daily Instance Quest Board.
== Level 45 - 99 ==
Next up, talk to the Warper and go to Poring Village instance. Create a party and enter the instance. Kill the first Poring you see and then Level Up Fire Ball. For the rest of the instance, you are going to Fire Ball everything in sight. At the end, spam Fire Bolt Level 10 until it's dead. If King Poring drops {{#icon:19117}}{{#linkitem:19117|<nowiki>Poring Sunglasses</nowiki>}}/{{#icon:19118}}{{#linkitem:19118|<nowiki>Poring Sunglasses [1]</nowiki>}}, congratulations! You are now rich! You can either sell it for ~20m Zeny or keep it. If you decide to sell it, you can skip a bunch of stuff and get some Equipment earlier.
After finishing the Instance, turn-in the quest in the Main Office for some Instance Coins. However, you are still missing a few levels. Some people might recommend you to go to Glast Heim, however I think Louyang is slightly faster. Go back to Eden and accept all 70~99 Mission Board Quests. Go to Louyang and go one map down. Kill 20x Increase Soil, 9x Mantis and 9x Geographer (yes 9 and not 10). After that turn-in your Increase Soil quest which will get your Job to 99. Go back to the Main Office to change to a Expended Super Novice! Now, go back to Louyang and kill the rest and turn-in the rest. You should be around Level 115.
== Level 99 - 150 ==
This part is very boring, but until Level 150, you are going to complete the Illusion of Moonlight hunts from Roxanne over an over again. It's still preferable to spam Fire Ball to kill everything, since it has as a very low cast time and still deals good damage. If you have {{#icon:550080}}{{#linkitem:550080|<nowiki>Freedom Stick [2]</nowiki>}}, use that instead. If you are about to die, just go back and Heal yourself up. Once your {{#icon:7803}}{{#linkitem:7803|<nowiki>Novice Battle Manual</nowiki>}} expires, do your favorite Eden Quests and complete them until you have enough Eden Coins to get the Advanced Shadow Gear. Afterwards, get the Advanced Super Novice Gear in Eden by exchanging Blue Hair, Pickaxe, Rubberband. Once acquired it's time to back to Illusion of Moonlight.
== Level 150 - 180 ==
The pain of every Super Novice. If you have neither {{#icon:550080}}{{#linkitem:550080|<nowiki>Freedom Stick [2]</nowiki>}} or {{#icon:550081}}{{#linkitem:550081|<nowiki>Patent Freedom Stick [2]</nowiki>}}, you are going to have to Storm Gust and Jupitel Thunder everything from now on. You can also *try* asking for a leech from now on. It's not uncommon to get help from someone. In any case, Illusion of Vampire is next. Keep turning in the quest over and over again until you are around Level 180. Pick Carnium up along the way, you will need it later.
== Level 180 - 200 ==
I prefer to do Illusion of Teddy Bear until 200. If you don't have Psychic Wave, well it's going to be a while. Pick up Oridecon and Elunium while leveling. Again, try asking for leech if possible.
== Level 200 - 240 ==
Leveling starts get better from now. Get Jack Frost Nova as soon as possible. You are going to level in Niflheim Dungeon 2 for quite a while now. Your main strategy is going to be, drop Jack Frost Nova, follow up with a Jupitel Thunderstorm and teleport away. You can also do the Episode Quests. Those give a small amount of EXP, but you need to do them eventually anyway, so it's better to do them now than later.
== Level 240 - 275 ==
Mjolnir until 275! GG
= Ending =
Thank you for reading my guide! It took me a long time to finish writing this guide, so I hope it helped you in some way! I will still update the guide from time to time.

Latest revision as of 17:31, 13 December 2024

hello this is me guide.

Introduction

This guide serves as a basic overview of the Magic DPS Hyper Novice, including Leveling, Gear Progression and just some things here and there. This guide should help you to the gist of it and then go on from there

Please note: If you are planning to make your first character a Hyper Novice, you are going to have some trouble in the early game due to Super Novices lack of actual Skills. It is still possible to reach Hyper Novice eventually, it just takes a while longer. Luckily, reaching Level 200 has been made easier some time ago, so it's not too bad anymore.

Note when reading this guide: All tables in this guide are collapseable, if you find something hard to read, just collapse a table! Equipment section can get busy at times!

General Overview

Hyper Novices are the 4th Job of the Novice. Breaking the tradition of learning Skills from all Basic Jobs, Hyper Novices instead learn completely new Skills, based on existing 2nd Job Skills, finally making them a class on their own instead of a meme Job. This unfortunately makes them less unique than before, however it's still possible to come up with fun and unique builds. While Hyper Novices can be either played as a Physical or as a Magic DPS Class (or even both!), this guide mainly focuses on the Magic DPS Build.

If you are looking for a more Physical oriented Build, please refer to this Guide by Jetago's Melee Hyper Novice Guide. For a more Generalized Overview, refer to this Guide by Rakugaki PvM Hyper Novice.

It might also not to hurt to give Choi's Guide To Magic a read, as it goes way more in-depth.

Status and Traits

Status
Status Point
Point Distribution
Notes
Str
1 - whatever
Provides some extra carrying capacity if you so desire, but this can be mitigated with 6286.png Gym Pass (6286) + 39.png Pushcart.
Agi
1 - whatever
Usually not relevant early since you need those points elsewhere, but can be increased to 80~100+ later.
Vit
100+
We are quite fragile so everything helps, especially in the early game.
Int
120+
Main Status. As a caster class this is mandatory. It gives us the most Matk.
Dex
120+
This is rather flexible due to the amount of Dex we get from 45.png Improve Concentration and 43.png Owl's Eye.
Luk
1 - whatever
Provides a little bit of Status Matk.
Trait Status
Trait Point
Point Distribution
Notes
Pow
0
Pow does not contribute to our damage, so we don't put any points into it.
Sta
0 or 36/72
You are most likely to get hit by spells rather physical attacks. But you can put some points into it if you want.
Wis
36 or 72
See above.
Spl
110
Similar to Int. It increases our Spell Damage by a lot. (All Skills scale with Spl)
Con
110
This is our second source of S.Matk.
Crt
0
Similar to Pow, It does not increase our damage, therefore we don't put points into it.

Status Overview

If you want a complete overview of Status and Trait Points, refer to this page: Stats.

But basically for Status Points:

  • Str: Increases Melee (and marginally Ranged) Physical Damage. As a caster, we don't need that. However, Str also has the benefit of increasing our weight capacity. This is usually not needed since we have access to 36.png Enlarge Weight Limit and 39.png Pushcart.
  • Agi: Increases Aspd and provides us with some additional Flee and SoftDef. You'd think increasing our Attack Speed is useless, however having an increased Attack Speed let's us finish our casting animation faster (any animation your character does is tied to Aspd) and allows us to cast, well faster. However with most 4th Job Skills, we are also bound by ACD.
  • Vit: Increases our MaxHP by +1% per point. It also increases our SoftDef and also Healing Item effectiveness.
  • Int: Our main Status. It increases our MaxSP, our SoftMDef and most importantly, our Matk. It also slightly decreases cast time by a tiny bit.
  • Dex: Very important Status. It decreases our cast time by a lot and also provides us with a little bit of Matk and Aspd. It also slightly increases our SoftMDef.
  • Luk: Increases Critical, Flee and Perfect Dodge and also, Matk. More than Dex in fact.

For Trait Points:

  • Pow: Increases P.Atk, so it's useless.
  • Sta: Provides a lot of Res, which reduces the amount of Physical Damage we take.
  • Wis: Similar to Sta, except it increases our MRes which reduces Magic Damage.
  • Spl: Very important. It increases our S.Matk which is basically Matk but better.
  • Con: Increases Hit, Flee and most importantly S.Matk. Oh, and P.Atk, but we mainly put points into it for more S.Matk.
  • Crt: Increases Critical Damage and Healing. Neither increases our damage so we don't want it.

Skills Overview

As a Hyper Novice, you have access to almost all 1st and 2nd Job Skills. This gives Hyper Novice a lot of utility since they have access to many Skills such as:

  • Acolyte: 28.png Heal, 29.png Increase Agility, 34.png Blessing, 26.png Teleport
  • Merchant: 36.png Enlarge Weight Limit, 39.png Pushcart, 37.png Discount, 38.png Overcharge, 108.png Repair Weapon

These are just a few, they have a lot more, but I wouldn't call them "useful" for convenience.

Hyper Novice Skill Trees

Since Hyper Novice don't have a 3rd Job Skill, it still referred to as their 4th Skill Tree. The first Job contains some of the basic 1st Job Skills and the second contains some of the 2nd Job Skills. Their 4th Job Skill Tree contains new and unique Skills, specifically tailored for them. It's divided between Physical and Magic Skills.

1st Job Skill Tree
2nd Job Skill Tree
4th Job Skill Tree

Relevant 4th Job Skills

I assume you already know what all 1st and 2nd Job Skills do, so I will only go into their 4th Skills in detail.

5449.png Self Study Tactics: Prerequisite for 5505.png Overcoming Crisis.

5450.png Self Study Sorcery: Increases the damage of all our Skills + it increases our S.Matk by 1 per Skill Point.

5462.png Rule Break: Increases the damage of all your Magic Skills by a lot for 5 minutes. This should always be up or your damage suffers immensely. Costs 150 AP to use.

5455.png Meteor Storm Buster: Deals Fire damage in an area. Nice Skill and has nice effects, but unfortunately it tends to miss a lot due to RNG (similar to Meteor Storm). [Rule Break increase +50%]

5456.png Jupitel Thunderstorm: Deals Wind to the targeted enemy and everyone around it. Very good skill since it deals good damage and and doesn't require to ramp up. [Rule Break increase +70%]

5457.png Jack Frost Nova: Deals Water damage in an area. Very strong skill and our strongest due the amount of hits (1 + 24 in total at Level 10!). The initial cast deals slightly less damage than the explosion. All enemies (except Boss Type) also take additional damage from Water after getting hit by it. [Rule Break increase +70%]

5458.png Hell's Drive: Deals Earth damage around you. At Level 10 it has a pretty quick ACD (quite spammable) but the damage is on low end. Good to farm tho if you can one shot mobs with it. [Rule Break increase +70%]

5459.png Ground Gravitation: Deals Neutral damage in an area around you and lingers around for 5 seconds, dealing damage every 0.5 seconds. The aoe looks deceptively large but it's just 9x9 at Level 10 (similar to Jack Frost Nova). Initial burst deals quite a bit of damage it and the field that lingers deals also nice damage but just takes too long to get any value imo. Similar to 5457.png Jack Frost Nova, enemies hit by it take additional Magic Damage (except Boss), they also are slowed a bit. "Technically" your second strongest skill in terms of numbers, but there's a catch... [Rule Break increase by only +50%]

5460.png Napalm Vulcan Strike: Deals Ghost damage to the targeted enemy and everyone around it. Very spammable and damage is ok, however it's your weakest Skill. Good for farming low level enemies from a far. [Rule Break increase +40%]

5505.png Overcoming Crisis: Increases your HP by A LOT + gives a some P.Atk and S.Matk. It also fully Heals you. Costs 50 AP to use.

Gear Progression

There are already many guides to Gear Progression. If you want an in-depth look please refer to Madame Celery's Guide to MuhRO and/or Choi's Guide To Magic as mentioned earlier. My guide will only focus on my recommendations. Please note that the Levels shown in the tables are not indictive to what you should have. Leveling ramps up quite a bit after Level 200 with Eden and Turn-Ins, so you might level extremely fast. It slows down around ~250 until 275.

Beginner

The Eden Equipment is enough to blaze through the beginning of the game. You can also grab the Eden Shadow Gear for free. Noteworthy is that we pick 510035.png Paradise Dagger instead of 550032.png Paradise Staff for our starting Weapon. We cannot cast Spells yet so Matk is useless. Better to get more extra Atk. Once you've become a Super Novice, get 550040.png Paradise Super Novice Staff .

Beginner - Early Game

At Level 100, we can get the Advanced Eden (Shadow) Equipment. Both sets boosts our damage significantly, so I highly recommended getting it. The new Advanced Shadow Equipment costs 20 Eden Coins to rent, so clear a bunch of Eden Quests to get it. Unfortunately 20307.png Costume Beginner Cap loses it's bonuses at Level 100.

Early Game

At Level 150 you can get a pretty big upgrade in form of the Grace Set. The Equipment costs 20x 25669.png Unknown Part per piece and in order to refine you need 100130.png Grace Refine Ticket which costs 10x 25723.png Cor Core . The set includes the sweet 470021.png Grace Magic Boots [1] , which reduces your FCT by 0.5s! This doesn't sound like much, but it's huge once you become a Hyper Novices. You should also get 400246.png Bacsojin Doll Hat-LT [1] , a headgear that further reduces your FCT by 0.5s. The reason why I recommended it over something like 400154.png Survival Circlet-LT [1] is because it just needs Grade C in order to make use of it. It has a 101259.png Refinement Hammer which uses 4688.png very 2854.png cheap and 1005.png easily 7444.png farmable 6213.png materials and uses no 6635.png Blacksmith's Blessing on use. You only need 1 to Grade it to C. If you cannot afford or farm the materials yet, keep using your 400140.png Advanced Paradise Hat . Do not 19428.png Illusion Morpheus's Hood [1] . This is a trap.

Mid Game

At Level 210, get a Glacier Wand. You can craft it you want, but it's easier (and cheaper) to just buy it from other players. If you are still rocking a 400140.png Advanced Paradise Hat , now's time to upgrade. Your next big target will be 450178.png +11 {WO.Shadow Spell} {WO.Mage Lv3} {WO.Mage Lv2} Gray Wolf Robe [1] . It will be your BIS until Late - Endgame. You can also start beginning to craft your 470204.png Moan of Corruption [1] , a very strong pair of Shoes. Grade them to 470204.png +9 [C] Moan of Corruption [1] to gain the full effect of its -1s FCT. Once acquired, you will be able to instant cast with all your spells which is very strong. They will also be your BIS when refined and graded to 470204.png +11~12 [A] Moan of Corruption [1] , so it's good preparing for that. You can also 400246.png +11 [A] Bacsojin Doll Hat-LT [1] your headgear if you so desire, but it's not needed. For Garment, 480125.png + 11 Convertible Magical Wing [1] is a solid choice, which can be further enhanced with 450406.png Convertible Magical Armor [1] . Keep in mind in order to reap its full benefits, either equipment needs to be +12, so it's up to you if you want to go that route.

For Shadow Gear, you can get the full Super Novice Set. In addition to boosting your Fire, Wind, Water and Earth Damage, it also gives you 100% Magic pierce when fully refined (although I would advise against it, getting it to +9 is fine). Only get this if you have the money to spare, if not, 24715.png Super Novice Advanced Paradise Shadow Weapon is still very viable. You can also think of getting Costume Enchants. Your best enchant is the Super/Hyper Novice Set which consists of 1001327.png Super Novice Stone (Top) , 1001328.png Super Novice Stone (Mid) , 1001329.png Super Novice Stone (Low) and 1001489.png Hyper Novice Stone (Garment) . Keep in mind that these are expensive and rare. Your 2nd best option is the Archbishop Set. It's also a bit expensive but it's more accessible and still provides a decent boost.

There aren't many notable changes here. Replace your 550069.png +9 Glacier Wand with 550089.png +12 [A] Dim Glacier Wand [1] . This will be your BIS for the foreseeable future. You can also replace your 410091.png Cor Core Booster / 410092.png Cor Core Booster [1] and 420003.png CD in Mouth with better options, but honestly, they are still fine. Picking up 400111.png +9 [A] Vesper Headgear [1] will be your next goal. Do not replace your 400246.png +9~11 [C] Bacsojin Doll Hat-LT [1] until your 400111.png Vesper Headgear [1] is fully graded. You should also start grading your 470204.png +9 [C] Moan of Corruption [1] to 470204.png +9~10 [A] Moan of Corruption [1] for a big damage spike. End Game

This will probably take you the longest. Most End Game Gear requires a lot of grinding and/or a lot of money and/or a lot of luck. Both 450173.png Nebula Robe of Spell [1] and 490136.png Stellar Spell Seal [1] are annoying to enchant. If you don't wanna bother with it, you can buy them both. Keep in mind that they are both VERY expensive. If you don't wanna bother with 490136.png Stellar Spell Seal [1] , you can get 490304.png Temple Rune Ring [1] instead. Also technically 450284.png Engraved Soul Purification Rune Robe [1] is stronger than 450173.png Nebula Robe of Spell [1] , however it will become your BIS in the future. So going for 450284.png Engraved Soul Purification Rune Robe [1] is just a waste of time and money. You can also start getting rid of that old Shadow Gear and replace with either Master Shadow Gear or Blue Shadow Gear. While Blue Shadow Gear is stronger and more versatile, Master Shadow (Weapon and Shield) Gear will become BIS for you in the future. It also has the benefit of being universal, in case you want to create another Character that isn't a caster.

Cards

If you want a General Overview of what Cards to use, please take a look at Choi's Guide. It goes way more in-depth that I ever could. This section will get expanded in the future, but for now, Choi's Guide has everything you need. Rakugaki PvM Hyper Novice also has section worth reading.

Leveling

This is the part that is going to be the most painful as a Novice. Novice and Super Novice have a rough time in the early game, due their lack of actual damaging Skills. I highly, HIGHLY recommend getting 550080.png Freedom Stick [2] . This staff will abllow you to cast Psychic Wave Level 3 when it's refined to +9, however the problem is that getting it is RNG and not many people sell it. If you can get it, get it. Preferably reform it and get it to 550081.png +9 Patent Freedom Stick [2] . If you cannot get it, Leveling from 150 ~ 200 will almost be impossible.

Level 1 - 45

Do the Starting Quest! Completing it will reward you with a 7803.png Novice Battle Manual , which will boost your EXP by 200%. Once you're a in the Main Office, go to Ant Hell and kill 1 Ant Egg to reach Level 10. Go to Eden and get your Eden Starting Equipment (remember to pick 510035.png Paradise Dagger ) and go back to Ant Hell until you reach Level 14. At Level 14, go back to Eden to accept the Payon Dungeon Quests from the 1~39 Mission Board. Now start whacking Skeletons and Zombies. MAKE SURE NOT TO KILL TO MANY MOBS! IF AN EXP EVENT IS ACTIVE, POP YOUR 7803.png Novice Battle Manual BEFORE REACHING LEVEL 40. After killing 10x Zombies and 20x Skeletons, you should be Level 38. Go back to Eden and pop your 7803.png Novice Battle Manual and turn-in the quest. Before going back to the Main Office, go get 550040.png Paradise Super Novice Staff . After that, go to the Main Office and change to a Super Novice. Go to the right and accept the Poring Village Quest instance from the Daily Instance Quest Board.

Level 45 - 99

Next up, talk to the Warper and go to Poring Village instance. Create a party and enter the instance. Kill the first Poring you see and then Level Up Fire Ball. For the rest of the instance, you are going to Fire Ball everything in sight. At the end, spam Fire Bolt Level 10 until it's dead. If King Poring drops 19117.png Poring Sunglasses /19118.png Poring Sunglasses [1] , congratulations!

Level 99 - 150

This part is very boring, but until Level 150, you are going to complete the Illusion of Moonlight hunts from Roxanne over an over again. It's still preferable to spam Fire Ball to kill everything, since it has as a very low cast time and still deals good damage. If you have 550080.png Freedom Stick [2] , use that instead. If you are about to die, just go back and Heal yourself up. Once your 7803.png Novice Battle Manual expires, do your favorite Eden Quests and complete them until you have enough Eden Coins to get the Advanced Shadow Gear. Afterwards, get the Advanced Super Novice Gear in Eden by exchanging Blue Hair, Pickaxe, Rubberband. Once acquired it's time to back to Illusion of Moonlight.

Level 150 - 180

The pain of every Super Novice. If you have neither 550080.png Freedom Stick [2] or 550081.png Patent Freedom Stick [2] , you are going to have to Storm Gust and Jupitel Thunder everything from now on. You can also *try* asking for a leech from now on. It's not uncommon to get help from someone. In any case, Illusion of Vampire is next. Keep turning in the quest over and over again until you are around Level 180. Pick Carnium up along the way, you will need it later.

Level 180 - 200

I prefer to do Illusion of Teddy Bear until 200. If you don't have Psychic Wave, well it's going to be a while. Pick up Oridecon and Elunium while leveling. Again, try asking for leech if possible.

Level 200 - 240

Leveling starts get better from now. Get Jack Frost Nova as soon as possible. You are going to level in Niflheim Dungeon 2 for quite a while now. Your main strategy is going to be, drop Jack Frost Nova, follow up with a Jupitel Thunderstorm and teleport away. You can also do the Episode Quests. Those give a small amount of EXP, but you need to do them eventually anyway, so it's better to do them now than later.

Level 240 - 275

Mjolnir until 275! GG
