How to properly refine your gear?
This is not a rule, it's just the way I used to refine my gears. You can find your own way.
Here are some tips on how to refine your equipments.
General tips:
- Time Gap Weapons has a Refine Box.
- Dimensions Weapons has a Refine Box.
- Dimensions Crowns has NOT a Refine Box.
- Nebula Armors has NOT a Refine box.
- Type @go 50 to refine and grade. Top left you find NPC Leona to refine. Top mid you find NPC Garm to grade.
- Use Speed Refine from NPC Leona to refine Armor lv2 or Weapon lv5. It cost 10k+ for each refine but it is really faster than going one by one.
- ALWAYS use safe option to grade (requests 5 stones).
Armor
Before starting to refine your armor, check if it has a Refine Box or a Hammer. You can check some here.
Armor level 1

Armor level 2

Weapon

The hammer will randomly refine from 1 to 10. If you need it to be +7, you can use the hammer until +5/+6 and then go with HD Elunium for Shadow Armor or HD Oridecon for Shadow Weapon. |

Easy way to go to +9. No suffering. |
| 9 | Use HD Oridecon (6240) or HD Elunium (6241) to +10. It won't break on fail.

The cycle is: use Shadow 9 Refine Hammer (23926) . Then use the HD. If it fail and goes to +8, use the HD again. If it fails and goes to +7, use the hammer to +9 again. Start it over.

Refine and Grade
Let's use some examples of how a refine goes:
How to refine an armor like 
Moan of Corruption [1] (470204) :

You can choose any option to reach +11. Just keep in mind that if you go with HD Etherium, after four failed attempts the hammer option would have been cheaper. |

| Grade A | Same as Grade C. When it's +11, you need 7 Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for each attempt to +12.

Here I say: use the MVP Equip Refine Hammer (50052) to get to +12. It's cheaper than relying on RNG luck.

Crafting Safe Refine Tickets
Here's a way to farm weapons and armors to craft safe refine tickets:
- Farm any Illusion Dungeons of your choice and loot the Illusion item box and Illusion refine box (for example
Illusion Underwater Box (41089) and 
Underwater Refinement Box (100425) ) - Open the item boxes to get an item of the safe refine ticket you're looking for: Weapon or Armor.
- Refine it until +4 with
Oridecon (984) /
Elunium (985) , then use the refine box for a random refine from +7 to +10. - Now, if the item turns into a +10 or +9 (or even +8 for armors), keep it and turn it into a Safe Refine Ticket at paramarket.
- If not, you can try to gamble the refine with Oridecon (984) / Elunium (985) with a chance of breaking it. Or you can try to reroll the refine with another Refine Box.
- Fuse the tickets at paramarket to get the desired Safe Refine Ticket level you want.
Note: This technique is worth until safe to +10 tickets, as +11 tickets need to fuse five +10, it's usually better to use the HD bradium/HD carnium option.
