- Nach dem Luftschiffüberfall mit Kapitän Ferlock verliert das Luftschiff die Kontrolle und stürzt auf einer unbekannten Insel ab.
- Der Ymir-Stein, mit dem das Luftschiff angetrieben wurde, zerbricht und verstreut sich über die Insel.
- Ein Expeditionsteam macht sich auf den Weg zur Absturzstelle, um die Situation zu untersuchen.
- Euer Ziel ist es, dem Expeditionsteam zu helfen, sich auf der Insel zurechtzufinden und die dort hausenden Monster zu untersuchen.
- Durch die Wirkung des Ymir-Steins sind diese Monster sehr mächtig.
- Bei eurer Ankunft auf der Insel werdet ihr von einem Wissenschaftler begrüßt, der euch auffordert, euch zur Höhle zu begeben, um das Expeditionsteam zu treffen.
- Wenn ihr mindestens fünf verletzte Passagiere sucht und ihnen helft, erscheint später eine schwächere Version des Bosses.
- Geht zum Eingangsportal auf der Minikarte. Wenn ihr die Höhle betretet, findet ihr das Expeditionsteam.
- Sprich mit dem Professor, um eine Einweisung in die Situation und den Ermittlungsverlauf zu erhalten.
- Sprich erneut mit dem Professor, um der Ermittlungsgruppe beizutreten.
- Vorsicht: Wenn du der Untersuchung beitrittst, erscheinen jetzt Monster, auch auf dir.

- Sprich mit dem Studenten, um eine Quest zu erhalten, bei der du Monster von der Karte töten musst.
