=Next: Way to Biolo= | |||
From the moment on you are a Genetic and over Base Level 100 you can get new gear from Eden. In the room you got your first gear talk to Labraham. He will give you a special offer to trade in some items into . Bring him the items and get your new weapon. | |||
Next Talk to Louis. In exchange for some items you take the physical set to get a nice complete set of advanced Eden gear. | |||
You can turn off the as it gives no bonus anymore. Your gear should now look like this: | |||

==Stats as Genetic== | |||
In the next chapter you will gain much stat points. To have the stats in the right place, you should continuously allocate them. While allocating the stats your priority should be STR, DEX, INT. Have in mind that damage scales with INT. | |||
After becoming Base Level 200, your stats should look roughly like this, if you got some stats points spare, put them in AGI: | |||

* Join the "Arc Wand Clan" in Main Office - it gives you some extra stats for free | |||
* Accept the Quests from the Eden Board 100-110 | |||
* Do the Quest: "Hunt 30x Hill Wind" - Your killing skill is still - we will change that after this step. | |||
* Turn the Quest in. You now can skill , and on max level. | |||
* Hold always active - it gives you a decent speed improve. | |||
* Buy some from the Merchant Dealer in the Main Office and equip them | |||
* Now do the following quests, first time using : | |||
** 100-110: "20 x Axe/Hammer/Mace Kobolds" | |||
** 100-110: "30 x Drosera, 30 x Muscipular" | |||

We now changing the boards. Go to the Main Office and accept all quests from the Daily Hunts Board . | |||
You now got 3 Quests: | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Moonlight | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Frozen | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Vampire | |||
After turning in you should be around Base Level 141. Back to Eden, do the Quests from the Board: | |||
* Kill 120 Monsters in lasa_dun03 | |||
* Kill 120 Monsters in rockmi1 | |||
* Kill 30 x Cenere & Antique Book | |||
* Kill 60 Monsters in ecl_fild01 | |||
You now should be Base Level 150. The Daily Hunts Board has two new Illusion Quests now: | |||
(From here on it is extremely helpful to have already the Homunculus Dieter to tank the monsters!!) | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Teddy Bear | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Abyss | |||
Back to Eden, do these quests: | |||
* Kill: 30 x Nightmare Wanderer Man | |||
* Kill: 40 x Big Ben & Neo Punk | |||
* Kill: 50 x Recon Robot | |||
As you might expect, now again to the Main Office Daily Boards and do: | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Luanda | |||
* Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Twins | |||
If you followed so far you should be now Base Level 170. You are now able to wear the most gear which is described in the chapter: Mid Game Gear. To further get a good progress you should now do the following episode quests to gain access to the next leveling spots: 17.1 Illusion. As you are already in the episode quests, do the 17.2 Sage Legacy quest directly afterwards. Questing should be a good break from all that leveling ;-) | |||
==Become Biolo== | |||
Lets start the last step before changing the job to Biolo. From the 17.1 Illusion you've gotten access to Rudus. That's where we start the next leveling round. To be well equipped you now can get the grace set - its described in the Mid Game Gear Chapter. | |||
* If you haven't done yet, accept all quests at the 130-190 Eden Quest Board and do: | |||
** "Hunt 50x Big Bell in Nightmare Clock Tower" | |||
** "Kill 80 Monsters in sp_rudus2" | |||
** "Kill 160 Monsters in sp_rudus3" | |||
* Do the Daily Board Quests | |||
** "Hunt 160x Monsters in ba_2whs01" | |||
** "Hunt 160x Monsters in ba_2whs02" | |||
** "Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Underwater F2" (you need here : ) | |||
* This gets kinda hard, but it's worth... Take the quests: | |||
** "Kill 160 Monsters in mag_dun03" from Eden Board | |||
** You also get 4 quests for mag_dun03 from Daily Hunts Board in Main Office | |||
:: (Walk slowly, let you Homunculus tank and for support use to increase your damage) Don't worry if you die, once you accessed Magma Dungeon 3, a direct warp is activated in the warper. | |||
* Now another double quest. Take this quests(you need here : ) | |||
** "Kill 160 Monsters in ein_dun03" from Eden Board | |||
** You also get 4 quests for Einbech 3 from Daily Hunts Board in Main Office | |||
* Do the Daily Board Quest(you need here : ): | |||
** 30x Angelgolt(Blue) & 40x Angelgolt(Pink) | |||
** 30x Holy Frus & Skogul | |||
* Now we do a little jump. Read carefully first an do the steps as described: | |||
:# Again take all new quests from Eden and Daily Boards | |||
:# Do the Quests: 240x Monsters in Abyss_04 from the eden Board(includes completion of 20x Purple Ferus, 10x Treasure Mimic, 20x Black and Silver Acidus, 30x Bone Fetus & Acidus from the daily hunts board) - (you need here : ) but DONT TURN THE QUESTS IN! | |||
:# From your acquired buy a from the Eden Machine | |||
:# Use the now. You got now 60 Minutes extreme leveling! | |||
:# In odin_past kill as much monsters as you can, but at least 240 Monsters in your 60 Minute time. You need here many so be prepared. | |||
:# Before! the 60 Minute end and the expires go to eden and main office and turn all quests in. You can always control the remaining time in the status icon with EXP in it. On mouseover it shows you the exact remaining time. | |||
* Now you should be Base Level 200 and you can do the job change to Biolo. Your Job Level should turned long time ago to Level 70 ;-) | |||
When something went wrong and you didn't keep up with the steps in the guide, simply take one or the other board quest to get back on track. | |||
==Leveling as Biolo== | |||
Leveling as Biolo is easy until level 230. After level 230 leveling takes more time. But as you got access to the most gear or content just keep it cool. | |||
From Level 200 on keep doing the boards in Eden and Main Office. More Quests will become available in the later levels. When you start a fresh day and you got a or even better a bought from from in Main Office I suggest following procedure: | |||
# Take all available quests (including instances from Main Office Instance Board) | |||
# Do them but don't turn them in | |||
# After completion activate the or | |||
# Turn all quests in together | |||
Outside of the boards, good leveling spots are: | |||
{| class="wikitable" style="font-size:smaller;background:transparent;" | |||

==Stats for Biolo== | |||
Biolo is a 4th class job - all 4th class jobs get new stats called: Trait Status. You can allocate them in the fold out menu under you regular stats. You should invest in just 2 stats - POW maxed out and rest into CON. When you are Level 250 this looks like this: | |||
{| class="wikitable" style="font-size:smaller;background:transparent;" | |||

===Spam Cart Cannon=== | |||
Under certain circumstances you are able to spam like a machine gun. This requires to have out and a very precise balancing of various factors: | |||
====Instant Cast==== | |||
To reach that you skills have no more variable cast time its possible to do it by gear. But the best way is to achieve it through skill points. For help take this formula: | |||

DEX × 2 + INT >= 530
| |||
You can check you current reduction with the command
@bs
. If you reached the goal of instant cast it should look like this: | |||
| |||
====After Cast Delay(ACD)==== | |||
Cart Cannon has a After Cast Delay of 0.5s. I'll skip all the math behind it and make it simple: you have to have 72% After Cast Delay reduction. To achieve this you have to reach 42% from your gear. Look at my my gear suggestion: here you will find more than enough possibilities. The remaining 30% you can get also from gear(but that's the more complicated option). The easiest option is to have a befriended Bard who gives you Level 10 which reduces After Cast Delay by 30%. | |||
You can check your current After Cast Delay with
@bs
and it should look like this(I know: in the screenshot its 2% too much...): | |||
| |||
====Attack Speed (ASPD)==== | |||
You need 193 ASPD, which is achieved by putting stat points into AGI. As you need the most stat points for other stats you can use gear which gives you ASPD or use consumables like: | |||
* (bought from tool dealer) | |||
* (you can produce them by your own) | |||
You can check your current ASPD directly in the status window: | |||
| |||
=Gear= | |||
==Starting Gear== | |||
It is not worth to use anything else to get started than the Eden gear. | |||
==Mid Game Gear== | |||
===Early Mid Game=== | |||
After laying down your Eden Gear you can very cheap get another great set. It bridges the time until you have better gear. | |||
The set is called Grace Set and is available from Sentinel for 20 each, which you gotten in the leveling session in Rudus. You can easily refine the Armor, Manteau and the Boots to +9 with the , which you can buy from the same NPC for 20 each(also from Rudus). You can enchant it if you like(not necessary), for more information see this article: Grace Set. | |||
In addition to the grace set you can wear: and which should be easy available for you on the market from other players. | |||

===Late Mid Game=== | |||
Late Mid Game gear is gear which will cost you some time(and of course Zeny). From here on until End Game Gear its always a transition of switching some pieces until you get later the "Best in Slot" gear. Give yourself a plan how you will progress because wrong decisions will cost more time and Zeny. | |||
From now on refining comes as a blast in your life. I suggest here the affordable refining levels - if you are lucky you can refine to a much higher level ;-) | |||

Shadow Gear: You can stay long time with the Advanced Eden Shadow Gear. I suggest a transition directly from there to End Game shadow gear. | |||
==End Game Gear== | |||
Now it gets freaky ;-) End game gear is always expensive and should not be your first target if you just startet. It can take weeks or even months to get it to a more or less acaptable stage. So don't be afraid if it don't comes together quickly. | |||
In End Game gear Level 5 weapons and Level 2 armors are entering the stage. New to them is that they can get Grades, which makes it much more complicated to max them out, but it will really be worth it. | |||
I keep it here realistic with refine levels - if you want you always can go further. Also MVP Cards are not considered because they have such rare drop rates. | |||

It is possible to enchant costumes and these enchants give Cart Cannon a pretty neat boost. For more information, see: Costume Enchants (Fashion Points). I list here the optimal combination of Costume Enchants for our Cart Cannon Built: | |||

==Biolo Skill Builds (Under Construction)== | |||
These are at the moment theoretical builds who are under construction. Feedback is always appreciated. | |||
===Mayhemic Thorns=== | |||
is a mighty Biolo skill which is able to do critical hits. Try to keep and up because it gives you a huge damage increase. | |||
The following stats are a suggestion for the mentioned gear. You should focus to get 130 CRIT in you stats. That's why I don't focus on LUK in stats because the gear already gives so much. You'll maybe switch something forth and back... Keep in mind to get somehow instant cast: | |||

Introduction
From zero to hero: This guide should give you a good starting point to build your Cart Cannon Biolo from scratch. This guide is under constant development and please always keep in mind that there are many different ways to build a strong character and this guide is based on my experiences only.
The guide should be for the first steps similar for other classes too. Feel free to adopt it for your other chars. If you got any questions, you might see me around MuhRO or Discord: Just ask!
First steps up to Genetic
Lets start to built up your newly created character. When you created you new character you start at the beginners quest. DO THAT QUEST - while doing that quest, you change your job already to merchant. You will get the Costume Beginner Cap (20307) - use that because it gives you a good amount of bonus until level 100. At the Eden Group you will get starting gear. You can get your first weapon and armor set from Lothaire in Eden(I mostly take the Paradise Mace (590025) ). Also get the Paradise Shadow gear for free from Lucy.
You are now geared for a good start. Your Equip should now look like this:
Paradise Cap (400137) | -Empty- | |
-Empty- | Paradise Suit (450183) | |
Paradise Mace (590025) | -Empty- | |
Paradise Manteau (480103) | Paradise Boots (470067) | |
Paradise Gloves (490123) | Paradise Ring (490122) |
Your shadow gear should look like this:
-Empty- | -Empty- | |
Costume Beginner Cap (20307) | Paradise Shadow Armor (24689) | |
Paradise Shadow Weapon (24687) | Paradise Shadow Shield (24688) | |
-Empty- | Paradise Shadow Shoes (24690) | |
Paradise Shadow Earring (24691) | Paradise Shadow Pendant (24692) |
The Shadow Gear also gives you the ability to use Heal. You can use it as a cheaper alternative for potions.
Do NOT use the Novice Battle Manual (7803) now! We keep it up for after rebirth to get a sprint in leveling.
- After you got your starting gear, Lunos will ask you if you ready for the beginners instance Poring Village: Do this...
- If you haven't assigned your status point yet, put it 2/3 into STR and 1/3 into AGI. Continue assigning status points while you are in the instance.
- You can kill the monsters in the instance by auto attacks(make sure you enable it with
/nc
) or you use Cart Revolution. If you want to use Cart Revolution, first kill some porings to get enough skill points to skill Pushcart on max level. Then go back to the Main Office@go 15
and get a Pushcart from the Universal Rental NPC (main_office 80, 59). Buy 8000 x Flower (712) from Flower Girl in Prontera (prontera 58, 182) (with Discount at Level 10 they only cost you 1 Zeny) and put them into your Pushcart because the weight scales your damage. No matter which way you go, always have Crazy Uproar on, which increases you STR and ATK. By completing Poring Village you get a reward - take the Poring Village Leek (19238) and put it on.
- Now you should be Base Level 53 and Job Level 38. Go to eden
@go 16
and pick the board quest(40-69) and kill 20x Orc Skeleton & 20 Orc Zombie. Return to Eden and click the board to get the EXP Reward. You now should be Base Level 67 and Job Level 50. Go to the Main Office@go 15
, assign all your Skill Points and change your Job into Alchemist.
- You now can get new weapon from Eden! Go to Labraham and get Paradise Alchemist Sword (500034) . From now on you should use Cart Revolution as described above.
- Continue with these Eden board quests in this order(because they are given from your level):
- 40-69: Hunt "15x Marduk & 15x Pasana and gather 10x Old Papyrus (25073) "
- 70-99: Hunt "15x Wraith & 15x Evil Druid"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Stem Worm"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Reffelsia"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Pitman"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Waste Stove"
- 70-99: Hunt "30x Siroma"
- 70-99: Hunt "30x Roween"
- 70-99: Hunt "30x Stapo"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Shinobi"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Dark Priest, 1x Furious Dark Priest"
- Now you should be Base Level 99 and Job Level 50. Do NOT rebirth now!
- Do the Quest Cautious Village until step 8. Do NOT continue with step 9!!
- Now do the rebirth at the Job Master
- Kill 2 Porings to become Job Level 10 and do the jobchange to High Merchant
- Now use the Novice Battle Manual (7803)
- Continue with step 9 of Cautious Village, you are now Base Level 88 and Job Level 50.
- Job Change to Creator (you can now put on your Eden gear on again), don't forget to assign your skill points.
- Sidenote: You can now start building your Homunculus(see Chapter: Get your entourage)
- Continue with these Eden board quests:
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Live Peach Tree"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Evil Cloud Hermit"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Wicked Nymph"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Spring Rabbit, 10x Dragon Tail"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Freezer, 10x Heater"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Soldier, 10x Permeter"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Assaulter"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Breeze"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Rybio"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Injustice"
- 70-99: Hunt "10x Zombie Prisoner, 10x Skeleton Prisoner"
- 70-99: Hunt "15x Teddy Bear"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Venomous"
- 70-99: Hunt "20x Li Me Mang Ryang(Jing Guai) 20x Hyegun(Yao Jun)"
- You are now Base Level 99 and Job Level 70 and can do the job change to Genetic
- Now just kill one Poring and you are Base Level 103.
Next: Way to Biolo
From the moment on you are a Genetic and over Base Level 100 you can get new gear from Eden. In the room you got your first gear talk to Labraham. He will give you a special offer to trade in some items into Paradise Genetic Mace (590028) . Bring him the items and get your new weapon.
Next Talk to Louis. In exchange for some items you take the physical set to get a nice complete set of advanced Eden gear.
You can turn off the Costume Beginner Cap (20307) as it gives no bonus anymore. Your gear should now look like this:
Advanced Paradise Cap (400139) | -Empty- | |
-Empty- | Advanced Paradise Suit (450185) | |
Paradise Genetic Mace (590028) | -Empty- | |
Advanced Paradise Manteau (480105) | Advanced Paradise Boots (470069) | |
Advanced Paradise Gloves (490127) | Advanced Paradise Ring (490126) |
Stats as Genetic
In the next chapter you will gain much stat points. To have the stats in the right place, you should continuously allocate them. While allocating the stats your priority should be STR, DEX, INT. Have in mind that Cart Cannon damage scales with INT.
After becoming Base Level 200, your stats should look roughly like this, if you got some stats points spare, put them in AGI:
Stat | Value |
---|---|
STR | 120 |
AGI | 1 |
VIT | 70 |
INT | 120 |
DEX | 130 |
LUK | 1 |
Leveling starts again
- Join the "Arc Wand Clan" in Main Office (main_office 114, 314) - it gives you some extra stats for free
- Accept the Quests from the Eden Board 100-110
- Do the Quest: "Hunt 30x Hill Wind" - Your killing skill is still Cart Revolution - we will change that after this step.
- Turn the Quest in. You now can skill Cart Remodeling, Cart Boost and Cart Cannon on max level.
- Hold Cart Boost always active - it gives you a decent speed improve.
- Buy some Iron Cannon Ball (18004) from the Merchant Dealer in the Main Office and equip them
- Now do the following quests, first time using Cart Cannon:
- 100-110: "20 x Axe/Hammer/Mace Kobolds"
- 100-110: "30 x Drosera, 30 x Muscipular"
- 100-110: "20 x Orange & Green Venatu each"
- 100-110: "20 x Red & Blue Venatu each"
- 100-110: "10 x Blue & Orange Dimik each"
- 100-110: "10 x Green & Red Dimik each"
- 120-140: "30 x Green & Red Ferus each"
- 120-140: "30 x Gold & Blue Acidus each"
- 120-140: "1 x Hydrolancer"
- 120-140: "20 x Skogul"
- 120-140: "20 x Frus"
- 120-140: "5 x Blue and Brown Skeggiold each"
- 120-140: "5 x Incubus & Succubus each"
You now should have 20 Eden Coin (25223) . Get the Advanced Eden Shadow Set from Lucy in Eden. You can rent it for 72 Hours for the 20 Eden Coin (25223) you have. The Shadow Gear will give you a large Bonus.
Your Shadow gear should look like this:
-Empty- | -Empty- | |
-Empty- | Advanced Paradise Shadow Armor (24694) | |
Genetic Advanced Paradise Shadow Weapon (24701) | Advanced Paradise Shadow Shield (24693) | |
-Empty- | Advanced Paradise Shadow Shoes (24695) | |
Advanced Paradise Shadow Earring (24696) | Advanced Paradise Shadow Pendant (24697) |
We now changing the boards. Go to the Main Office and accept all quests from the Daily Hunts Board (main_office 123, 36). You now got 3 Quests:
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Moonlight
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Frozen
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Vampire
After turning in you should be around Base Level 141. Back to Eden, do the Quests from the Board:
- Kill 120 Monsters in lasa_dun03
- Kill 120 Monsters in rockmi1
- Kill 30 x Cenere & Antique Book
- Kill 60 Monsters in ecl_fild01
You now should be Base Level 150. The Daily Hunts Board (main_office 123, 36) has two new Illusion Quests now:
(From here on it is extremely helpful to have already the Homunculus Dieter to tank the monsters!!)
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Teddy Bear
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Abyss
Back to Eden, do these quests:
- Kill: 30 x Nightmare Wanderer Man
- Kill: 40 x Big Ben & Neo Punk
- Kill: 50 x Recon Robot
As you might expect, now again to the Main Office Daily Boards and do:
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Luanda
- Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Twins
If you followed so far you should be now Base Level 170. You are now able to wear the most gear which is described in the chapter: Mid Game Gear. To further get a good progress you should now do the following episode quests to gain access to the next leveling spots: 17.1 Illusion. As you are already in the episode quests, do the 17.2 Sage Legacy quest directly afterwards. Questing should be a good break from all that leveling ;-)
Become Biolo
Lets start the last step before changing the job to Biolo. From the 17.1 Illusion you've gotten access to Rudus. That's where we start the next leveling round. To be well equipped you now can get the grace set - its described in the Mid Game Gear Chapter.
- If you haven't done yet, accept all quests at the 130-190 Eden Quest Board and do:
- "Hunt 50x Big Bell in Nightmare Clock Tower"
- "Kill 80 Monsters in sp_rudus2"
- "Kill 160 Monsters in sp_rudus3"
- Do the Daily Board Quests
- "Hunt 160x Monsters in ba_2whs01"
- "Hunt 160x Monsters in ba_2whs02"
- "Kill 100 Monsters in Illusion of Underwater F2" (you need here : Lightning Cannon Ball (18006) )
- This gets kinda hard, but it's worth... Take the quests:
- "Kill 160 Monsters in mag_dun03" from Eden Board
- You also get 4 quests for mag_dun03 from Daily Hunts Board in Main Office
- (Walk slowly, let you Homunculus tank and for support use Red Herb Activator (100232) to increase your damage) Don't worry if you die, once you accessed Magma Dungeon 3, a direct warp is activated in the warper.
- Now another double quest. Take this quests(you need here : Holy Cannon Ball (18001) )
- "Kill 160 Monsters in ein_dun03" from Eden Board
- You also get 4 quests for Einbech 3 from Daily Hunts Board in Main Office
- Do the Daily Board Quest(you need here : Dark Cannon Ball (18002) ):
- 30x Angelgolt(Blue) & 40x Angelgolt(Pink)
- 30x Holy Frus & Skogul
- Now we do a little jump. Read carefully first an do the steps as described:
- Again take all new quests from Eden and Daily Boards
- Do the Quests: 240x Monsters in Abyss_04 from the eden Board(includes completion of 20x Purple Ferus, 10x Treasure Mimic, 20x Black and Silver Acidus, 30x Bone Fetus & Acidus from the daily hunts board) - (you need here : Holy Cannon Ball (18001) ) but DONT TURN THE QUESTS IN!
- From your acquired Eden Coin (25223) buy a Battle Manual (12208) from the Eden Machine (moc_para01 51, 30)
- Use the Battle Manual (12208) now. You got now 60 Minutes extreme leveling!
- In odin_past kill as much monsters as you can, but at least 240 Monsters in your 60 Minute Battle Manual (12208) time. You need here many Dark Cannon Ball (18002) so be prepared.
- Before! the 60 Minute end and the Battle Manual (12208) expires go to eden and main office and turn all quests in. You can always control the remaining time in the status icon with EXP in it. On mouseover it shows you the exact remaining time.
- Now you should be Base Level 200 and you can do the job change to Biolo. Your Job Level should turned long time ago to Level 70 ;-)
When something went wrong and you didn't keep up with the steps in the guide, simply take one or the other board quest to get back on track.
Leveling as Biolo
Leveling as Biolo is easy until level 230. After level 230 leveling takes more time. But as you got access to the most gear or content just keep it cool.
From Level 200 on keep doing the boards in Eden and Main Office. More Quests will become available in the later levels. When you start a fresh day and you got a Battle Manual (12208) or even better a HE Battle Manual (12411) bought from from Muh Coin (50000) in Main Office I suggest following procedure:
- Take all available quests (including instances from Main Office Instance Board)
- Do them but don't turn them in
- After completion activate the Battle Manual (12208) or HE Battle Manual (12411)
- Turn all quests in together
Outside of the boards, good leveling spots are:
Access with Level | Area |
---|---|
200 | Odin Rudus Floor 4 Niflheim Dungeon Floor 1 |
215 | Amicitia Floor 1 |
230 | Amicitia Floor 2 |
240 | Niflheim Dungeon Floor 2 |
Stats for Biolo
Biolo is a 4th class job - all 4th class jobs get new stats called: Trait Status. You can allocate them in the fold out menu under you regular stats. You should invest in just 2 stats - POW maxed out and rest into CON. When you are Level 250 this looks like this:
Stat | Value |
---|---|
POW | 100 |
STA | 0 |
WIS | 0 |
SPL | 0 |
CON | 97 |
CRT | 0 |
Spam Cart Cannon
Under certain circumstances you are able to spam Cart Cannon like a machine gun. This requires to have Wooden Warrior out and a very precise balancing of various factors:
Instant Cast
To reach that you skills have no more variable cast time its possible to do it by gear. But the best way is to achieve it through skill points. For help take this formula:
DEX × 2 + INT >= 530
You can check you current reduction with the command @bs
. If you reached the goal of instant cast it should look like this:
After Cast Delay(ACD)
Cart Cannon has a After Cast Delay of 0.5s. I'll skip all the math behind it and make it simple: you have to have 72% After Cast Delay reduction. To achieve this you have to reach 42% from your gear. Look at my my gear suggestion: here you will find more than enough possibilities. The remaining 30% you can get also from gear(but that's the more complicated option). The easiest option is to have a befriended Bard who gives you Level 10 Poem of Bragi which reduces After Cast Delay by 30%.
You can check your current After Cast Delay with @bs
and it should look like this(I know: in the screenshot its 2% too much...):
Attack Speed (ASPD)
You need 193 ASPD, which is achieved by putting stat points into AGI. As you need the most stat points for other stats you can use gear which gives you ASPD or use consumables like:
- Berserk Potion (657) (bought from tool dealer)
- Enrich Celermine Juice (12437) (you can produce them by your own)
You can check your current ASPD directly in the status window:
Gear
Starting Gear
It is not worth to use anything else to get started than the Eden gear.
Mid Game Gear
Early Mid Game
After laying down your Eden Gear you can very cheap get another great set. It bridges the time until you have better gear. The set is called Grace Set and is available from Sentinel (sp_cor 115, 129) for 20 Unknown Parts (25669) each, which you gotten in the leveling session in Rudus. You can easily refine the Armor, Manteau and the Boots to +9 with the Grace Refine Ticket (100130) , which you can buy from the same NPC for 20 Cor Core (25723) each(also from Rudus). You can enchant it if you like(not necessary), for more information see this article: Grace Set.
In addition to the grace set you can wear: Victory Wing Ears (400001) and Feather in Mouth (420030) which should be easy available for you on the market from other players.
Advanced Paradise Cap (400139) | Victory Wing Ears (400001) | |
Feather in Mouth (420030) | Grace Cart Cannon Suit [1] (450100) | |
Paradise Genetic Mace (590028) | -Empty- | |
Grace Attack Manteau [1] (480018) | Grace Attack Boots [1] (470020) | |
Grace Attack Ring [1] (490019) | Advanced Paradise Ring (490126) |
Late Mid Game
Late Mid Game gear is gear which will cost you some time(and of course Zeny). From here on until End Game Gear its always a transition of switching some pieces until you get later the "Best in Slot" gear. Give yourself a plan how you will progress because wrong decisions will cost more time and Zeny. From now on refining comes as a blast in your life. I suggest here the affordable refining levels - if you are lucky you can refine to a much higher level ;-)
Alternatives:
Position | Gear |
---|---|
Top Headgear | +12 Taurus Diadem [1] (400099) : It combines with Coolant Injection [2] (16093) |
Armor | +11 Automatic Armor Type A [1] (450127) with 2x Automatic Orb (Cannon Tornado) (310136) and Automatic Modification Orb (After Cast Delay) (310110) |
Weapon | +11 Patent Red Lotus Sword [2] (500013) with White Knight Card (4608) and Polluted Wander Man Card (27361) It has less damage than Coolant Injection [2] (16093) but offers the easier base to switch to the Red Lotus Sword-LT [2] (500039) later. |
Shield | +11 Illusion Guard [1] (460017) with 2x Rune of Dexterity Lv2 (29004) |
Garment | +11 Automatic Engine Wing Type B [1] (480021) with 2x Automatic Modification Orb (Shooter) (310101) and Automatic Modification Orb (Powerful) (310119) |
Shadow Gear: You can stay long time with the Advanced Eden Shadow Gear. I suggest a transition directly from there to End Game shadow gear.
End Game Gear
Now it gets freaky ;-) End game gear is always expensive and should not be your first target if you just startet. It can take weeks or even months to get it to a more or less acaptable stage. So don't be afraid if it don't comes together quickly.
In End Game gear Level 5 weapons and Level 2 armors are entering the stage. New to them is that they can get Grades, which makes it much more complicated to max them out, but it will really be worth it.
I keep it here realistic with refine levels - if you want you always can go further. Also MVP Cards are not considered because they have such rare drop rates.
Alternatives:
Position | Gear |
---|---|
Top Headgear | +12 Helm of Faith (Genetic) [1] (400233) with: Master Archer Lv3 (29093) or Mettle Lv3 (29063) and AfterSkillDelay Lv3 (4950) or Expert Archer Lv3 (4834) . Use this only when you use Vivatus Fides Rapier [2] (500028) . |
Weapon | +12 Vivatus Fides Rapier [2] (500028) Grade A Not recommended because you will destroy the combination of Hero Boots-LT [1] (470094) , Hero's Badge [1] (490163) and Heroic Token (Biolo) [1] (490167) . |
Armor | +11 Varmundt Ice Rune Armor [1] (450203) Grade A with Power of Varmundt Lv3 (310922) and DEX+4 (4723) |
Shield | +11 Illusion Guard [1] (460017) with 2x Rune of Dexterity Lv2 (29004) |
Accessory(Right) | Gray Wolf Earring [1] (490108) with 2x Wolf Orb (Archer) Lv.4 (310631) and Wolf Orb (DEX) Lv.3 (310491) This is not very recommended because the extreme high invest compared to the bonus you get against Heroic Token (Biolo) [1] (490167) or Automatic Booster R [1] (490024) . |
Shadow Gear:
-Empty- | -Empty- | |
-Empty- | +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Armor (24679) | |
+10 Mega Blitz Shadow Weapon (24768) | +10 Separate Reload Shadow Shield (24746) | |
-Empty- | +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Shoes (24680) | |
+10 Almighty Shadow Earring (24339) | +10 Almighty Shadow Pendant (24340) |
Alternatives:
Position | Gear |
---|---|
Accessory(Left) | +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Pendant (24682) |
Accessory(Right) | +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Earring (24681) |
Shadow Gear can be enchanted: You should focus on getting P.ATK +1 or +2 an alternative is Long Range physical attack.
Costume Enchants
It is possible to enchant costumes and these enchants give Cart Cannon a pretty neat boost. For more information, see: Costume Enchants (Fashion Points). I list here the optimal combination of Costume Enchants for our Cart Cannon Built:
Creator Stone (Top) (29464) | Genetic Stone (311009) | |
Teleport (29229) | -Empty- | |
-Empty- | -Empty- | |
Genetic Stone (Garment) (29467) Reload Stone (Dual) (311014) |
-Empty- | |
-Empty- | -Empty- |
Feel free to choose yourself in the lower headgear what you like. I chose the Teleport Stone to save the slot normally occupied by the creamy card.
Biolo Skill Builds (Under Construction)
These are at the moment theoretical builds who are under construction. Feedback is always appreciated.
Mayhemic Thorns
Mayhemic Thorns is a mighty Biolo skill which is able to do critical hits. Try to keep Hell Tree and Research Report up because it gives you a huge damage increase.
The following stats are a suggestion for the mentioned gear. You should focus to get 130 CRIT in you stats. That's why I don't focus on LUK in stats because the gear already gives so much. You'll maybe switch something forth and back... Keep in mind to get somehow instant cast:
Basic Stats:

Trait Stats:

-Empty- | +10 Full Penetration Shadow Shoes (24664) | |
+10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Pendant (24682) | +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Earring (24681) |

Pet
The most used pet is the Incubus. It gives you nice SP Leech and you will never have worries about empty SP.
To get the Incubus Pet, you can go to Geffenia and tame an Incubus by using Girl's Naivety (12370) on it to get the Incubus Egg (9052) or just buy the egg on the market(from other players). You will need a Pet Incubator (643) to call the pet. Incubus consumes Vital Flower (6110) which can be bought in the main office (main_office 101, 33). Don't forget to enable Autofeed in the pet menu. If you don't like to see pets around, you can easily activate the command @hidepet
or activate it in the Login Settings in the main office.
If you are interested in pets check the article: Pet System
Homunculus
Homunculus are often dubbed as rocket science, but they give you a lot of power. In the end, it's not hard to grow a decent Homunculus. With a few steps you get the Homunculus which I recommend as the daily driver. If you want to get deeper knowledge about Homunculus, see this article: Homunculus. You should start to get your Homunculus right after you become Creator.
- Make sure you have skilled: Bioethics, Rest, Call Homunculus and Resurrect Homunculus
- Get an Embryo (7142) , you can buy them from other players on the market or create it. To create it see this article: Creations from special jobclasses
- Use Call Homunculus and you new Homunculus appears. You want to have a Amistr, which appears in this two forms: or
If you don't get Amistr just simply open Homunculus status window by Alt+R , click Delete and try it again.
- Get Amistr Loyal! You now can use 90 x Homunculus Supplement (100371) or simply feed it and let it drag along.
- Use a Stone of Sage (12040) . You now have an evolved Amistr which looks like this: or this:
- Get some Zargon (912) from the Petfood NPC in main office (main_office 101, 33), open Homunculus status window by Alt+R and enable Autofeeding.
- Level Homunculus up to Level 99
- When your Job is Genetic talk to Viorel at (job3_gen01 12, 44) in Lighthalzen and pay him 50.000 Zeny to transform your Homunculus into Dieter:
- The most valuable skills you get from Dieter are Pyroclastic at Level 131 and Tempering at Level 230
Wooden Warrior and Hell Tree
From the moment you change your job to Biolo you can get additional very strong summons. You should use them only if you need the additional damage because they consume Greater Plant Bottle (1000281) .
- With the Skill Wooden Warrior you summon the Wooden Warrior. It increases your Cart Cannon damage a lot.
- With the Skill Hell Tree you summon the Hell Tree, which buffs you and gives additional damage.
For the creation of Greater Plant Bottle (1000281) see this page: Creations from special jobclasses or buy them from other players.
