Instance
The Tower of Trials is a party focused endgame instance similar to endless tower. It consists of 100 floors.
To unlock the next floor, all party members must be present. If a party member can't reach the next floor, because they are dead and can't be revived, or are outside of the instance, they must leave the party.
Each floor spawns several types of monsters at random, with an additional random MVP spawn every 5 floors.
All monsters, including the MVP, have to be defeated to open the portal to the next floor.
Monsters are different from their original version. They have increased stats, new skills, and don't drop any loot.
Mechanics
- Player's size, element and race resistance is capped at 90%
- Players have fixed increased movement speed
- Monster*s damage and defense increases each floor
- Monsters gain additional damage reduction every 25 floors (1-25: 0% | 26-50: 90% | 51-75: 99% | 76-100: 99.9%)
Trials
At the start of each floor a new trial is chosen at random.
Trial | Effect |
Normality | No additional effect |
Life | Portal to the next floor is open. Monsters are stronger |
Death | Portal to the next floor is open. Monsters are stronger. On Death, you will be warped out of the instance |
Close Combat | Monsters only take damage from melee attacks |
Distant Onslaught | Monsters only take damage from ranged attacks |
Spell Casting | Monsters only take damage from magic attacks |
