Overview

MuhRO uses macro checks to confirm that a player is actively present. These are sometimes called CAPTCHA checks. A check may be started automatically during gameplay or by a staff member.

Receiving a macro check does not by itself mean that a player has broken a rule. It is a verification prompt and should be answered as soon as it appears.

What happens during a check

When a macro check appears:

  • Your character cannot move, attack, use skills or items or perform other game actions until the check is resolved.
  • Your character is protected from damage while the check is open.
  • An image is displayed in the macro-check window. Enter the text shown in the image exactly. Answers are case-sensitive.
  • You have 60 seconds for each attempt and a total of three attempts.

An incorrect answer or allowing an attempt to time out uses one attempt. Closing the client or disconnecting while a check is active counts as a failed check, so do not try to avoid the prompt by relogging.

After the check closes, the damage protection remains for another 5 seconds so that you have time to react before combat resumes.

Rewards for a successful check

Successfully completing a macro check grants:

  • Level 5 Assumptio for 1 hour
  • Level 5 Magnificat for 1 hour
  • 10 50000.png Muh Coin (50000)

The Muh Coin reward can be received once every 60 minutes per master account. The buffs are still granted when the coin reward is on cooldown.

Successfully answering the CAPTCHA only resolves the active prompt. It does not clear the recorded gameplay activity or prevent staff from applying a punishment after reviewing the logs.

Failed checks, reviews and penalties

If all three attempts are used without entering the correct answer, the check fails and the character is sent to jail. The base jail time is 1 hour. Disconnecting during an active check also causes the check to fail.

Failed checks are tracked account-wide. Further failures within 30 days increase the jail duration:

Failure within the 30-day period Jail duration
First 1 hour
Second 3 hours
Third and later 12 hours

The escalation resets after 30 days without another failed check.

The automatic jail is an interim system measure. It is not a final decision about whether automation occurred and it does not replace a staff review.

The server records relevant activity from macro-checked players. Staff may review these records whether the CAPTCHA was failed or successfully answered. A correct answer does not excuse automated activity that occurred before, during or after the check.

Any gameplay action performed without real-time user control is prohibited under the server rules and is punishable by a permanent ban. This includes macros, bots, scripts, external tools and other forms of automated input.

How checks are selected

Checks can be initiated by staff or by automated systems that evaluate gameplay activity. The precise maps, signals, thresholds and selection schedule are intentionally not published and may change. This protects the system from being tuned around by automated tools.

Normal players do not need to change how they play. Stay available while actively farming and answer the prompt when it appears.

Problems and appeals

If the image or input window does not display correctly, take a screenshot if possible and contact MuhRO Support. Include your account or character name and the approximate date and time of the check.

Macro-check outcomes and related activity are recorded in server logs. Staff can review those records when investigating automation, a technical problem or an appeal.
