Extended Memo Slots (in-game quest line: The Path of Missionary Work) is a skill quest for Cardinal and Inquisitor characters. By carrying out missionary work in Umbala and Einbroch, you expand the number of warp points your Warp Portal skill can remember with the /memo command.

Warning: Resetting your skills wipes your extended memo progress. If you reset skills after finishing this quest, you lose the extra slots and must complete the whole quest line again. Talking to Missionary Rosetta after a reset automatically clears leftover quest steps so you can start over cleanly.

Walkthrough

1. The Path of Missionary Work (Prontera Cathedral)

1. Speak to Missionary Rosetta at the Prontera Cathedral (prontera 225, 330) and choose "I'll participate" to accept the missionary work.
2. Talk to her again. She grants your first extra memo slot and asks which region you want to visit first: Umbala or Einbroch. Pick either and she warps you to your choice.
3. On arrival, use the /memo command to save that town into your new 4th warp slot (she reminds you to do this).

You must complete both the Umbala and the Einbroch missions. You may do them in either order. After finishing the first, you return to Rosetta and she sends you to the second (saving that town's memo point for you automatically).

2a. Umbala - Banquet of the Dead

1. Travel to Umbala and speak to Tita at (umbala 127, 140). Missionaries and locals have gone missing, lured into a banquet held by the beings of Niflheim. Agree to help.
2. Go to the Dead's Banquet Hall in Niflheim (nif_dun01 101, 246).
3. Hunt 100 Brutal Murderer (20937) inside the Banquet Hall to break up the party.
4. Rescue the 3 missing believers, Jhon, Maria and Blue. They are scattered around the map and appear as you walk near them. Talk to each one to open a warp portal and send them home to Umbala.

5. Once the hunt is complete and all three believers are rescued, return to Tita. She thanks you and directs you back to the Prontera Cathedral.

2b. Einbroch - Hide and Seek of the Naughty

1. Travel to Einbroch and speak to Suan at (einbroch 178, 148). Children from his study room have wandered deep into the Einbech mine. Agree to help.
2. Go to Einbech Mine Level 3 (ein_dun03 148, 221).
3. Hunt 100 Abyssman (20603) on the third level to keep the children safe.
4. Find the 3 lost children, Las, Minas and Tiris. They appear as you approach. Talk to each to warp them back to Einbroch.

5. Once the hunt is complete and all three children are found, return to Suan. He thanks you and directs you back to the Prontera Cathedral.

3. Completion (Prontera Cathedral)

1. Return to Missionary Rosetta. After your first completed region she automatically saves the other region's warp point into your memo and sends you off to finish it. Go complete the second mission (2a or 2b, whichever you have not done).
2. Report back to Rosetta one final time. Having proven your devotion, she grants your full reward: your Warp Portal can now remember 3 additional locations (6 total).

Reward

• +3 Warp Portal /memo slots, raising the maximum from 3 to 6 remembered warp points.

The extra slots become usable immediately. Use /memo while standing on any map to store it in a free slot, then select it from the Warp Portal skill window.

Notes

• The quest markers over Rosetta, Tita and Suan (and the rescue NPCs) only appear while you are on the relevant step.
• The rescue NPCs (believers and children) are hidden until you walk near them, so explore the target maps thoroughly.
• Skill reset removes the reward. See the warning above.
