| Normality | No additional effect |
| Life | Portal to the next floor is open. Monsters are stronger |
| Death | Portal to the next floor is open. Monsters are stronger. On Death, you will be unable to use skills until you reach the next floor. (or leave the instance) |
| Close Combat | Monsters only take damage from melee attacks |
| Distant Onslaught | Monsters only take damage from ranged attacks |
| Spell Casting | Monsters only take damage from magic attacks |
