Face Encroached Tan (22373) in this Episode 21 instance. Choose a difficulty, defeat the boss, and return to Nyar for your completion reward.

2 Choose Select Easy, Normal, or Hard. |
3 Fight Defeat Encroached Tan. |
4 Collect Speak to Nyar again for the completion reward. |

Encounter Guide
| BOTH MODES | Tan summons Shadows in both Normal and Hard Modes. Defeat Shadows until Tan stops attacking and becomes immobilized; use this state as your damage window. Jack Frost and Wider Spider Web are also used in both modes. |
| NORMAL | Keep eliminating Shadows until Tan becomes immobilized, then focus your damage on the boss. |
| HARD | Eliminating Shadows also immobilizes Tan. Use that opening while maintaining enough damage to overcome the boss's regeneration. |
Skills and Countermeasures
| Jack Frost | A high-damage Water skill that may inflict Freeze. Preparation:  Coldproof Potion (12119) grants +20% Water resistance for 20 minutes, but also gives -15% Wind resistance. Prepare Freeze protection as well.

| Wider Spider Web | Can immobilize you. Avoid being trapped in a dangerous position and be ready to survive incoming attacks while movement is restricted. |
