Old Glast Heim

Introduction

• Use Warper > Instances > Old Glast Heim
• Base Level 130+
• Rewards Coagulated Spell (6608) , Contaminated Magic (6755) , Temporal Crystal (6607)

Instance

Level 1

The party leader needs to speak to Varmunt, he will warn you about valkyrie Himelmez. Head north and speak to Heinrich green square. This will trigger a dialogue. After their conversation, some mobs will spawn. It is recommended to kill them for Coagulated Spells and Contaminated Magic before Heinrich kill them. A warp will activate at the west left yellow square, enter it and start killing monsters until a message "Himelmez drains the souls of the dead" appears. Party leader has to speak to Butcher left purple square.		Another warp right yellow square will spawn, enter it. Start clearing monsters until the message of "Himelmez drains the souls of the dead" appears. The party leader has to speak with Blacksmith right purple square. Enter the warp upper yellow square and continue to clear mobs. Once enough mobs has been cleared, Himelmez, Varmundt and Hienrich will all spawn at red square. Once the NPCs finish their conversation, Root of Corruption will spawn.
Please take note that you will have to be in the same screen as the MVP as it dies or you will not receive credit for the kill. After killing the MVP, all party members must speak to Varmundt red square to receive 1X Temporal Crystals.

Level 2

Head north and enter level 2 where you will find Varmundt and Heinrich. After their conversation, a warp left yellow square will spawn to the north of them. Enter it and start to kill monsters. Once enough monsters have been slain, Agony of the Royal Knight will spawn. You will need to kill him to proceed. Enter the warp on the right right left yellow square. Start killing monsters until Grudge of the Royal Knight spawn. Kill him to proceed. Head north and prepare for the final encounter. Do note that you will be unable to exit the room once you entered until either your party has wiped or the final MVP is killed. It is advisable to ensure everyone is alive and ready to enter before going in.		Head further north after entering the warp upper left yellow square and speak to Heinrich red square. Himelmez will transform the final survivor into Amdarais. Upon killing Amdarais, Hugin /navi 2@gl_k 158/241 will spawn in the middle of the room. Speak to him to receive Temporal Crystals. At this point the instance is completed, however there is a secret room where you can get additional loot in level 1. Head back to level one and enter the secret room by talking to the fountain /navi 1@gl_k 268/268. In the secret room, talk to the glass displays /navi 1@gl_k 170/136 to unlock the treasure and profit.
Amdarais cast Hell's Judgement and Dark Grand Cross as his main damaging ability, it is advisable to place Pneuma on the party while the tank wears a Bathory carded armor. Please take note that you will have to be in the same screen as the MVP as it dies or you will not receive credit for the kill.

Exchange

Talk to Hugin's Buttler (located near Hugin outside of the instance) to exchange 1 Temporal Crystal (6607) for 1 Temporal Boots (2499) . You can then upgrade those boots using 5 Temporal Crystal (6607) to the one of your choosing:

Slotting

You can attempt to slot your boots by giving Hugin's Craftsman 5 Temporal Crystal (6607) . The success chance is 30%.

Enchanting

Hugin's Magic Master will enchant your boots using either Coagulated Spell (6608) (non-slot) or Contaminated Magic (6755) (slotted). You can select category for the 4th enchant, but the 3rd enchant is a random one.

Special Enchant	Effect
Bear's Power	When being attacked, has a chance of changing into a Bigfoot and increasing Str by 200 for 5 seconds while decreasing HP by 500 every second. When unequipped, drains 300 SP.
Hawk Eye	When attacking, has a low chance of increasing DEX by 200 for 5 seconds while decreasing SP by 50 every second. When unequipped, drains 300 SP.
Lucky Day	For all attacks, you could increase your LUK by 200 for 5 seconds at a low rate. When unequipped, drains 300 SP.
Muscle Fool	When wearer receive physical attacks, adds a low chance of increasing VIT for 5 seconds while physical attack and magical attack are decreased 50%. When unequipped, drains 300 SP.
Runaway Magic	Earn Runaway Magic energy for 10 second in a low chance when dealing magical attack, while decreasing SP by 200 every second. When unequipped, drains 2000 SP.
Speed of Light	When dealing Physical Damages, adds a low chance of increasing ASPD and Flee for 5 seconds while decreasing HP by 400 and SP by 50 per second. When unequipped, drains 300 SP.

White Knight Card and Khalitzburg Knight Card

Talk to Portrait Collector (go up the stairs) to exchange Coagulated Spell (6608) or Contaminated Magic (6755) for White Knight Card or Khalitzburg Knight Card.
