Refine and Grade

Let's use some examples of how a refine goes:

How to refine an armor like 470204.png Moan of Corruption [1] (470204) :

Grade Refine Description
No grade Go from 0 to +9 using 1000331.png Etherium (1000331) . You can grade to D now. Bring a lot of Etherium. It can take a lot to succeed.
Also choose Speed Refine option from NPC Leona.
Grade D Go from 0 to +10 using 1000331.png Etherium (1000331) . You can grade to C now. Same as before.
Grade C Go from 0 to +10 using 1000331.png Etherium (1000331) .
Now you need 1 1000335.png HD Etherium (1000335) and 4 6635.png Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for each attempt to +11.
You can also use 50052.png MVP Equip Refine Hammer (50052) consuming 14 6635.png Blacksmith's Blessing (6635) for a safe +11. You can grade to B now. 		You can choose whichever option you want to get to +11. Remember that if you choose HD Etherium, after 4 failed attempts the hammer option becomes cheaper.
