== How it works ==
== How it works ==
The aim is to reach as high % medium resist as possible - as all the monsters in Zerocell are medium size.
# All porings in PVU use normal physical attacks or physical skills (such as Fire Attack, Poison Attack, Water Attack, etc.)

# All porings have very high damage, movement speed, and attack speed, are non-aggressive and are looters.
With a high enough % medium resist, you will be nearly unkillable allowing you to Lure effectively.
# The instance limits maximum resistance from a single source to a maximum of 90%.

# Porings usually do not change target from the lurer (very sticky), unless their aggro is reset by effects such as Stun, Blind, Extreme Vacuum, etc.
This is currently possible using 2 classes - Imperial Guard and Meister. Personally, I feel Imperial Guard is more effectively since you can keep other DPS alive via Devo (but Meister could be made to work as well)
# The goal is to reach 100 perfect dodge (PD) so that all normal physical attacks can be evaded.

# Damage from physical skills cannot be evaded by perfect dodge, so we use a combination of Formless resist (45%), Small resist (66%), DEF (~1000+), and RES (~500+) to reduce that damage.
Here is the build for both classes (this build aims to minimize cost. Optimizations on this build is definitely possible)
# The instance debuffs you with {{#skill:751}}, so we need 105 PD to achieve 100 PD after stats down inside the instance.
# Biolo is generally the best lurer for PVU because it can use {{#skill:5003}} to gain aggro from monsters in a large AOE, but this gear build can be used by any class

As Imperial Guard here are the key priorities / things to keep in mind
As a lurer, here are the key priorities / things to keep in mind

# As lurer, make sure run in front / ahead of party members to get aggro of the monsters. With 96% resist you are nearly immortal.
# If you are playing duo party - make sure the DPS is always Devo-ed Dispell removes Devo. So when facing mobs, I typically just turbo spam devo on the DPS
# If you are playing larger parties - be careful how many people you have devo-ed This build doesn't have as much of a max HP as other Devo focussed builds. You might not be able to have more than 2 party members in your Devo
# {{#skill:5257}} significantly reduces the incoming damage. Make sure to keep it up when available (since it can get dispell-ed).  Additionally, since devo depends on the reductions of the person being devo-ed, suggest other party members reach atleast 40-45% reduction (using Alice Card etc.)
# Keep other buffs up such as {{#skill:2313}}, {{#skill:2315}}, {{#skill:2318}}, {{#skill:2325}}, {{#skill:5256}}

P.S. I have not played lurer with Meister, but I'd imagine most of the above remains the same; minus the devo; with other class specific buffs

* Homunculus skills {{#skill:8040}}, {{#skill:8021}} can be used to reduce the incoming damage (though not mandatory).
* As the lurer, make sure to run ahead of party members to gain aggro from monsters.
* The size of the mob you can pull depends on your party composition. Here is a quick rule of thumb:
** Solo (no IG Devo or Cardi) - 10 to 11 porings at a time
** IG Devo (with Rebound Shield) and no Cardi - ~20 porings at a time
** IG Devo + Cardi - ~25-30+ porings at a time (you are almost immortal at this point)
* Porings usually do not change target from the lurer (very sticky), unless their aggro is reset by effects such as Stun, Blind, Extreme Vacuum, etc.
** This also means the DPS must wait for monsters to aggro onto the lurer before starting DPS
* Porings move very fast and are looters.
** If there are nearby un-aggro porings while DPS is attacking lured mobs, there is a chance they may wander into the DPS AOE and aggro onto DPS. The easiest way to avoid this is to move away from un-aggro monsters before starting DPS.
** All party members must have @autoloot 100. Otherwise, when a poring dies and drops loot, nearby un-aggro porings may move into DPS AOE to loot items and accidentally aggro onto DPS.
* All porings are Small and Formless. DPS can optimize for this to maximize damage.
* The small porings are Fire, Water, and Wind. Using Poison element increases damage against all small porings.

Introduction

This guide aims to provide a low-investment solution for luring / tanking in Poring Village Unreal (PVU).
Once you are able to lure / tank the porings in PVU, the instance mainly comes down to having enough DPS to clear the poring mobs quickly.

What is Poring Village Unreal?

  1. Poring Village Unreal (PVU) is a custom endgame version of the Poring Village instance. Completing the Unreal version rewards 2x 50209.png Special Instance Coin (50209)
  2. The mechanics of the instance are mostly the same as the normal version, except the porings are heavily buffed in terms of HP, Damage Reduction, and Attack.

How it works

  1. All porings in PVU use normal physical attacks or physical skills (such as Fire Attack, Poison Attack, Water Attack, etc.)
  2. All porings have very high damage, movement speed, and attack speed, are non-aggressive and are looters.
  3. The instance limits maximum resistance from a single source to a maximum of 90%.
  4. Porings usually do not change target from the lurer (very sticky), unless their aggro is reset by effects such as Stun, Blind, Extreme Vacuum, etc.
  5. The goal is to reach 100 perfect dodge (PD) so that all normal physical attacks can be evaded.
  6. Damage from physical skills cannot be evaded by perfect dodge, so we use a combination of Formless resist (45%), Small resist (66%), DEF (~1000+), and RES (~500+) to reduce that damage.
  7. The instance debuffs you with , so we need 105 PD to achieve 100 PD after stats down inside the instance.
  8. Biolo is generally the best lurer for PVU because it can use 5003.png Illusion Doping to gain aggro from monsters in a large AOE, but this gear build can be used by any class
