Introduktion
- In this guide I will give some Insight and recommendations based on my personal experience.
- And some general Info about the monsters and how to counter them.
Class Setup
- 1st let's talk about classes
- The most Important classes are Elemental Master | Biolo | Arch Bishop | Imperial Guard.
- Keep in mind that even if I put certain Classes into Support/DPS All support classes can be DPS classes but not all DPS Classes can be Support!
- Any DPS will do however proper synergy will make your party a lot faster later on.
- For DPS you want to have at least 15b dps but you should aim for 30b+ (if you want to reach higher floors).
Support Classes
- As mentioned above you do want to have the Big 4 in your party at all times.
- I will add some notes for them here and other support classes.
Arch Bishop
Job
- The AB has major buffs and most importantly has Lauda Ramus/Agnus which will clear you of most debuffs.
- can quickly res everyone with full hp.
- lex spam for more dps.
- Mediale to keep the Devo alive.
Gear
- Most importantly you need to be AS IMMUNE AS POSSIBLE.
- That means you need protection against Sleep/Stun/Silence/Freeze because otherwise you can't clear the others of those debuffs.
- Secondly be as tanky as possible you dont' want to die all the times and loose your ap.
- thirdly if you manage to squeeze it in you can also do lex spam .
Imperial Guard
Job
- Protect all DPS with Devo which is needed bcs higher lvl monster will oneshot dps otherwise.
- Ultimate sacrifice is enabled that basically resserects you once upon death.
- Guardian shield will protect you from physical dmg.
- On floors that have the Erend Monster Piety every relevant Party member for that floor!
Gear
- As much hp as possible (Alice is nice to have).
Elemental Master
Job
- LP is your friend. Depending on how you lay/replace it, it will make or break the party. (keep in mind spells can overlap onto lp so take the last 3 cells as not being there).
- Extreeme Vacuum is the most important tool to keep monsters away from the party and if you place it right against the lp those pesky orcs can t cast Pneuma.
- Warmer can remove Crystalize (important if your priest is frozen^^).
- Can easily generate ap for the others.
- Striking is a major DPS boost for all Physical classes.
- Spell enchancing and the 4 Endows are nice boosts for magic.
- insignias give major DPS boost with the 4 Elements and works well with vacuum.
Gear
- Same as Priest you want to be as immune/tanky as possible but you don't need much ACD.
- Mistress Card or Gemstone Shadow gear is highly recommended otherwise you will burn through them very fast.
Biolo
Job
- Although simple but FCP is a must have skill in any ToT Party or you will be stuck with broken equipment.
- On Melee floors Shadow protection is also very helpful (or on yourself).
- crazyweed can remove Pneuma and other ground effects (like spiderweb).
Gear
- You have 2 options you can either go Full DPS or Full Tank with Immunities (I recommend Full Tank).
Other noteworthy Supports
Spirit Handler
- Cat Shield is very strong and can help survivability of the whole party.
- can take some buffs off of AB and can sínstandly recover the AB's AP.
Soul Ascetic
- Fully focuses on keeping his buffs active and can give Soul of Heaven and Earth which will increase overall dps.
Inquisitor
- can be a very strong Tank with steelbody (no movement penality inside the tower).
DPS Classes & Synergy
- I will primarily point out Synergy on specific classes. (If I didn't mention them earlier).
Arch Mage
- Comet is the most useful debuff which adds a flat -50% elemental resist to monsters .
- situational all bloom with climax 4 is useful when you use a fire setup.
Troubadour & Trouvere
- March of prontera etc is a nice to have dps/def boost.
- Has plenty of other songs & Buffs.
Shadow Cross
- Darc claw /fatal shadow crow will boost melee dps.
Inquisitor
- Oelum Sanctum boosts range DPS.
Do's and don'ts
- + Do always walk with lp and have a vacuum upfront.
- + Do let the mobber bring in monsters if you have one.
- + Do spam Lauda at all times if you have monsters that can sleep/stun you inside of lp or in the vacuum!
- + Do focus on Zombies etc and other monsters that are inside the party instead of the ones in the vacuum!
- - Don't pull too many zombies/Pecos your party may break and your devo will have a hard time keeping everyone alive!
- - Don't Rush Mimic/Mandragora floors (especially not on a Trial of Armageddon) they can pull you all the way up to every monster and wipe the party!
- - Don't Rush Life/Death floors always make sure the WHOLE party can make it safely if you do want to skip monsters!
Dangerous Floors and Monsters
Floors
Death
- If you die you become useless for the rest of the floor this can be a death sentence so be sure to walk extra slow pull them 1 at a time if nessessary.
Armageddon
- Be wary if you have effects off you don't see the Meteors!
- If there are Ancient Mimics or Mandragoras be VERY CAREFUL. They can pull you into a meteor and cause a full wipe!
Monsters
- all dangerous monsters and some useful info:
Celia Alde
- Has deadly curse, Water Ball, AoE Dispell, AoE Spiderweb(can be blocked by LP) and can bypass vacuum.
Erend
- Can 1shot basically anyone without holy armor Piety is your best friend~
Anubis
- Has Coma so be wary while Tanking it.
Grand Peco|Zombie
- Both can snap into the party and deal large LP ignoring aoe dmg that squishy dps won't survive --> Devo is your friend.
Bady Garm
- Can also snap into the party and has sightthrasher which will pushh you around if you don't have knockback immunity.
- has close confine (you can get out of it if you use hiding).
Ancient Mimic
- Can pull everyone in sight to itself but only does so if you target it with any skill!
- Can bypass vacuum (which is more helpful than harmful)
Mandragora
- Can cast Mandragora howling which is very annoying. however the short cast time can be interupted so keep attacking and it won t cast it!
- Also has an AoE Pull so be wary on Armageddon floors.
Isilla
- Has Diamond dust. Stay on LP and you're fine.
Poring
- Can cast various dangerously strong magic aoes! Stay 3 cells away from the edge of lp or a stray meteor can kill you!
Andre
- Has earthdrain which can be a bit unpredictable with lp, stay 3 cells away from edges to be safe.
SideWinder
- Has poison clouds which are dangerous for dps (for tanks it isn't that dangerous).
Joker
- Has deadly curse and can bypass vacuum.
Speed Lunatics
- Has close confine (you can get out of it if you use hiding).
- Has extreemy high aspd and will hit/stun lock you (very annoying for mobbing monsters).
- Can bypass LP
Leaf Cat
- Has lock on laser 1 isn t as bad but 3 or 4? you die almost instantly if you are not on lp.
- Can fully drain your SP don t pull too many or you will be drained all the time!
Nightmare
- Can put you to sleep.
High Orc
- Has Pneuma can be annoying for range dps. If you place a vacuum on the edge of lp you can prevent them from casting it or by placing safetywalls around/ontop of it.
Aintz's Cookie
- Can place notes on the ground which will make you unable to walk.
- Has verly long casttime full heal which can be interupted with spellbreaker.
- Has taroth cards be wary of coma (got me once with it).
Beelzebub
- Has Magic Mirror spam dispell on it to somewhat prevent deaths, on non Spellcasting floors it's best for magic dps to sit this one out.
