Hello everybody! I'm Lxna, I have played ragnarok fopr many years but this year I started pushing myself into getting better at the game, understanding mechanics, and helping others so we always have a community to grow together. I started MuhRo around August 24, and since then i've been growing stronger, farming and making some friends on my journey. Important to say that I am not even remotely close of being a good Imperial Guard as I just started playing recently, i am just sharing my opinion and thoughts about the progression based in my experience!

Imperial guard (IG) is a really strong starter, has great dps output, it is really tanky (in farming runs it's almost impervious to damage!) and it has a really smooth and enjoyable gear progression. I do recommend this class, even if it's your first character on the server.

Do note that IG have a magic, a melee and recently a ranged physical build, but this guide will focus only on the magic vertent, which the main skill used is Cross Rain.

Offensive Skills
You will be using almost every time with very few exceptions. Your main strategy is to teleport, get the aggro of all the mobs around you and while they are almost on you, you make it rain to kill everything! <s>Don't forget that this skills demands that you need to be in the screen to get kill account, so if you are doing kill quests like eden boards wait for the mob to be killed to get the credit!</s>  Thanks @Miku Kitsune, we only need to not be in a party for the kill count! YAY!
If you happen to encounter something holy immune (Novices in Bioresearch Laboratory, per example)  you can use the following skills, as both will hit neutral magic damage:
* with
* with
Skill Tree Build
This is the skills that I use! Feel free to adapt conform your needs!

Generally, Stats should be based on what best suits you. As such, I won't provide my exact Stat distribution, as you should update yours accordingly. Instead, I'll provide my priority and the benefits of each Stat:

Int: Provides the highest bonus in StatusMATK. It also provides the second-highest reduction in Variable Cast Time.
Stats
Dex: Provides the third-highest bonus in StatusMATK. It also provides the highest reduction in Variable Cast Time from stats. Early on, you will want a lot of Dex, as your gear may not provide the VCT reduction you need. Later on, it will be a lower priority. However, I tend to keep a lot of dex in my full build, as I don't always use my full build in lieu of item drop rate gear.

Vit: Provides a lot of tankiness through HP, SoftDEF, and SoftMDEF.
Agi: Provides some additional tankiness by providing FLEE, and the ATKSPD improves DPS by reducing Cast animation.
Str: Provides additional weight capacity which will help for farming.
Luk: Provides the second-highest bonus in StatusMATK. However, I use more Dex than Luk because of the cast time reduction.

Gear Progression
I've used Choi's Guide To Magic almost entirely to progress through every phase with very few changes. In every phase i will list the equipments expected to have and the changes made from his guide!
Madame Celery's Guide to MuhRO has a very useful section for Gear Progression and Useful Cards, so please check that out! The information I will provide for Gear Progression will be more specific to Magic Damage Classes, particularly EXO and Talisman Soul Ascetics. As you read through, you can look at the Magic Gear Progression Table on my Guide to Magic. This table will have links that will guide you to the relevant pages.

It may be tempting starting out to want to rush your end-game gear. However, I do not recommend doing this and instead recommend improving your gear gradually, so you can farm more effectively.
One thing that I highly recommend is to progress your gear as your progress the character story! If it is your first time playing renewal or if you have never payed attention in ragnarok story, take a breath and enjoy the npcs and story! Is pretty rewarding to feel that you've farmed what you needed to start farming in some place stronger as you progress with your story together!

Phase One
Phase One
Moving forward, your main priority is to see where you can reduce your fixed cast time, and your second priority will be increasing your damage output (for now).
Moving forward, your main priority is to see where you can reduce your fixed cast time, and your second priority will be increasing your damage output (for now).
Abilities will have a specific Fixed Cast Time and Variable Cast Time. For EXO your fixed cast time is 1.5s and your Variable Cast time is 2.2s. For Talisman your fixed cast time is 1.5s and your Variable Cast time is 1s
Fixed Cast Time can be reduced by equipment (Most often through Shoes, Costume Enchant Stones, Accessories, and Higher Level Headgear).
Variable Cast Time can be reduced by gear (all types of gear) and stats. The formula to calculate your Variable Cast Time Reduction is 1 -((1-((Int + (Dex*2))/530)) * (1 - Bonus VCT from gear)).
For now, just assume that your VCT will come in time and go full int and dex for your stats.

At Level 150, you can start using  Grace Magic Boots [1] (470021) , which can be obtained after completing the 17.1 Questline from the Sentinel NPC. The boots are the easiest way to obtain some Fixed Cast Reduction, providing .5s at Refine Level 7. However, due to EXO and Talisman builds high FCT requirements, you will want to go for  Gray Wolf Shoes [1] (470088) or  Glacier Shoes [1] (450268) as soon as possible.
only has 1.5s Fixed Casting Time (FCT) and has 0.5 FCT and 6s Variable Casting Time (VCT), so at this point we should have at least 120 points in INT and DEX to help reduce VCT.
At Level 170, you will have access to the Illusion of Labyrinth and its related equipment. The Illusion Morpheus Set will provide a good boost in damage, and a +9  Illusion Morpheus's Hood [1] (19428) will give you Skill Cast Interruption Protection.

Lastly, the Advanced Paradise Equipment does not provide a Middle or Lower Headgear, so getting middle and lower headgears will provide an easy upgrade.
You should start progressing through the story to unlock all the maps and instances, and if this is your first character ever you will need to do it, so you can just buy the episode unlock with further characters!

Phase 1 Gear
With the phase eden equipment you can probably finish episode 16.1 Banquet for Heroes and start progressing through 17.1 Illusion. Episode 17 is the episode where you will start your farm adventure, probably hunting in Rudus 1, 2 and 3 looking for and .
Type Item Notes
Upper +9 to +11  Illusion Morpheus's Hood [1] (19428) You can use  Rune of Intellect Lv2 (29001)  Rune of Intellect Lv2 (29001) depending on how long you plan on staying on Illusion Morpheus Hood. Make it +11 if you decide to enchant it.
Middle Cor Core Booster (410091) or  Cor Core Booster [1] (410092) Depending on if you have a card or not.
Lower CD in Mouth (420003)

Weapon +7 to +9  Illusion Survivor's Staff [2] (2051) or +7 to +11  Illusion Thorny Staff of Darkness [2] (550030)
Shield Illusion Silver Guard [1] (460018)
Garment +9 to +11  Illusion Morpheus's Shawl [1] (20948) or +7 or +9  Grace Magic Manteau [1] (480019) You can use  Rune of Intellect Lv2 (29001)  Rune of Intellect Lv2 (29001) depending on how long you plan on staying on Illusion Morpheus Shawl. Make it +11 if you decide to enchant it.
Shoe +7 to +9  Grace Magic Boots [1] (470021)
+7  Gray Wolf Shoes [1] (470088)
+7  Glacier Shoes [1] (450268) Early on you can use Grace Shoes, but you will want to get the Gray Wolf or Glacier Shoes quickly.
Accessory (Right) Illusion Morpheus's Ring [1] (32238) or  Grace Magic Ring [1] (490020) Use the Grace Ring if you're using the Grace Set.
Accessory (Left) Illusion Morpheus's Bracelet [1] (32239)

Zeny Tip: Illusion of Underwater 2 and Illusion of Labyrinth are great places to farm zeny starting out, and you'll be able to get  Underwater Refinement Box (100425) and  Labyrinth Refinement Box (100423) to upgrade your gear or to make Safe to Refine tickets!
If you are only rushing levels to get as soon as possible to 4th class, focus on doing the eden hunting missions for the highest illusion dungeon you can comfortably and constantly kill!

The following table has the minimum level required to access the content related to farm. Focus here is minimum, as chances are that each new map that we unlock will be to hard for us to properly farm there without progressing our gear.

Phase Two
1.5s Fixed Cast Reduction is what you need. If you haven't already, your focus will be on getting Gray Wolf Shoes [1] (470088) with the  Wolf Orb (Fixed Casting) Lv.3 (310602) or any other 1s FCT reduction shoe.
At this point, we really need to get the 1.5s FCT so we can use Cross Rain to farm even faster. Focus on getting these first:

The Brilliant/ Sinful Sapphire Accessory Pairs give a good amount of damage and provide .2s and .3s FCT reduction respectively. With the  Minor Casting Stone (Garment) (25170) that gives .3s FCT reduction, you'll have a total of 1.5s or 1.6s FCT reduction. I do not recommend getting a  Cast Stone (Garment) (25067) if it's too expensive, as you'll already have enough FCT!
* : 0.5s
Moving forward, we're just working on damage; let's up those numbers!!
* : 0.5s
* Brilliant/ Sinful Sapphire Accessories: 0.2s / 0.3s
The final FCT required can be acquired these ways:

Between the  Gray Wolf Robe [1] (450178) and the  Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207) , both options are great.  Gray Wolf Robe [1] (450178) provides more damage and  Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207) provides more tankiness. Generally,  Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207) will be cheaper, as you can buy the necessary enchantment stones from other players. However, this requires other players to have and be willing to sell those stones, which may not always be the case.  Gray Wolf Robe [1] (450178) , however, requires farming of  Amethyst Fragment (1000405) which may be grindier but more reliable. My recommendation if you plan on going the snow flower route is to make sure that the stones you need for the  Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207) are available.
*
* using
* using

The Vesper Headgear is time-gated, requiring mysterious ores from a 24hr cooldown instance. You can try to farm these if you would like or buy these from a vendor.
Or you can wait until next phase where we will get our +9[C] which will already give 1s FCT!

Phase 2 Gear
Once we get 1.5s FCT our focus should be getting our weapon ready! This will be the biggest damage jump for the lowest price.
Type Item Notes
Upper +9 to +11  Survival Circlet-LT [1] (400154) or +9  Vesper Headgear [1] (400111) To Craft and To Reform the Survival Circlet. To Craft the Vesper Helmet
Middle Battle Processor [1] (410017) or  Cor Core Booster [1] (410092) Unslotted versions are fine if you don't have a card to use.
Lower Orbs of Survival-LT (420066)
Young Leaf of World Tree (Intelligence) (420022)
CD in Mouth (420003) OoS: To Craft and To Reform. Use OoS if you're using Survival Circlet.
YL:  SPL Lv2 (311081) or  S.MATK Lv.2 (310985) ,  Spell Lv2 (4814) or  MATK Lv.2 (310989) ,  INT+3 (4712) . Use Young Leaf if you are using Vesper Helm. Any Young Leaf is fine; it's the enchants that matter.
Alternatively, you can continue to use CD in mouth combo for a while.
Armor +9 to +11  Gray Wolf Robe [1] (450178)
+9 to +11  Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207)
+9 to +11  Glacier Robe [1] (450265) GW:  Wolf Orb (Shadow Spell) (310532)  Wolf Orb (Mage) Lv.3 (310510)  Wolf Orb (Mage) Lv.2 (310507) . Gray Wolf Gear can be obtained after completing Episode 18

SF: Ice Flower Magic Stone(Physical Defense) (1000717) or  Ice Flower Magic Stone(Magical Defense) (1000718) , Ice Flower Magic Stone(Magician) (1000721) , Ice Flower Magic Stone(Shadow Spell) (1000773) . Snow Flower gear can be obtained after completing Episode 19 . Only get Snow Flower if the related Ice Flower Magic Stones are easily obtainable (available in vend).

Phase Three
Phase Three
You can sit pretty comfortably on the Phase Two gears for a while. The best spots to upgrade are probably the Garment and Shoes if you're still on Grace. Now would be a good time to start farming your Shadow gear as well!
Now it's time to start part of our endgame equipment! Our biggest focus in this step will be shoes, garment and dim glacier weapon! You will also start doing and understading grading and refinement.
These wiki pages are good reads so you can understand how to self craft the following gear:

* Refinement
* Grade Enhancing

Be prepared to farm a lot. Serious, you will need something near 3k dim glacier boxes so you can fully craft your weapon lol.

Now you will notice that you will need tons of , , , and !
Don't sleep on those, as you will use thousands of them to craft equipment like , transform into to refine or craft your shadow gear!

We're almost at End Game. Time to make some of the tougher gears. You can skip to Phase Five if you think you can comfortably get the Equipment from Constellation Tower (Hard), Alice Twisted Madness (Hard) and Depth 1 and 2.

For Talisman Builds, the Time Dimension Combo will be the biggest upgrade for the build, and you will be dropping Vesper Helm for the TD Crown. However, Depth 2 is a very difficult map, so you won't be able to farm there until Phase 5. That being said, feel free to Grade and upgrade your Vesper Helm or keep it at +9 or +12 or continue to use the Survival Circlet-LT until you can get to the TD Combo. For EXO Builds, you will continue to use the Vesper Helm, so you will want to Grade and Enhance it.

Phase Five
Phase Five
AKA the final phase. Phase Five revolves around the gear you get from Constellation Tower, Alice Twisted Madness, and Biosphere Depths and Depths 2. The Enchants on the Stellar Spell Seal provide a large boost in VCT reduction that you'll need after losing the Convertible Magical Wing and Wolf Robe. I don't recommend switching out of the Convertible Magical Wing until you get the Stellar Spell Seal fully enchanted and upgraded.
We are finally at the end. I can guarantee that you have spent at least a good ammount of hours to get here, but I can assure we are far from over! At this phase we will slowly upgrade each piece of our gear up until we have nothing more to change and the only possible upgrades are MVP cards and refines past +12!

Also I am also at this phase, so i havent tested or either have each piece that are suggested here! Please feel free to PM me with suggestions of gear to use at this point!

Our focus will revolve around the gear you get from Constellation Tower, Alice Twisted Madness, and Biosphere Depths and Depths 2. We will also switch over Vesper+Dim Glacier to Time Dimension Crown+Dimension Weapon.

Suggested priority to upgrade
Unlikely the other phases, I will put a priority suggestion so you can try to upgrade each one at a time:
# 9 [A] &12 [A] (You NEED both at grade A, otherwise dim glacier is better)
# 11 [A]
# 11 [A]
# 12 [A] , if you haven't yet
# 12 [A]
# and
# Varmundt Rings (Varmundt rings will only be better than Brilliant/Sinful if you get beyond lv 3, that is why the rings are bottom of the priority!)

Again, take this with a grain of salt and decide for yourself what's the best next upgrade you should focus on!

The  Engraved Soul Purification Rune Robe [1] (450284) is the better armor, particularly against bosses. However, you will still likely need Nebula Robe of Spell [1] (450173) before being able to farm Biosphere Depths effectively.
The  Engraved Soul Purification Rune Robe [1] (450284) is the better armor, particularly against bosses. However, you will still likely need Nebula Robe of Spell [1] (450173) before being able to farm Biosphere Depths effectively. Once we get the Hall of Life update, it seems that Nebula will be the better armour because of the new enchants!

The Items from Alice Twisted Madness can provide S.Matk and Magic Damage with Element or provide a lot of VCT Reduction. You should get enchants according to the amount of VCT reduction you need for your build.

For pure damageTemple Rune Ring [1] (490304) is better than  Stellar Spell Seal [1] (490136) due to the power of the Second Slot Enchant. However, the Second Slot Enchant is limited to two races (unless you get the normal/boss enchant). Additionally, the Stellar Seal gives 30% variable cast reduction from a single accessory which is very powerful.

Introduction

Hello everybody! I'm Lxna, I have played ragnarok for many years but this year I started pushing myself into getting better at the game, understanding mechanics, and helping others so we always have a community to grow together. I started MuhRo around August 24, and since then i've been growing stronger, farming and making some friends on my journey. I started as an Imperial Guard because i really like more chonky (tanky) class and it was the perfect starter for me!

Important to say that I am not even remotely close of being a good Imperial Guard as I just started playing recently, i am just sharing my opinion and thoughts about the progression based in my experience!

Notes

Imperial guard (IG) is a really strong starter, has great dps output, it is really tanky (in farming runs it's almost impervious to damage!) and it has a really smooth and enjoyable gear progression. I do recommend this class, even if it's your first character on the server.

Do note that IG have a magic, a melee and recently a range critical physical build, but this guide will focus only on the magic vertent, which the main skill used is Cross Rain.

Some pros and cons for the magic build in my opinion:

Pros:

 • You are immune to magic damage (well, you dodge it, but it is really helpful);
 • AOE skill - you use the skill, things die inside the range, you teleport out of it, repeat! No need to click on the specific mob!
 • You can almost mantain 100% physical damage immune while farming using 5256.png Guardian Shield
 • Turned off brain for farming! Use skill, teleport, use skill, teleport and repeat until rich!

Cons:

 • Farm will get brainless along you upgrade your gear. At the start it will be harder and slower than other classes;
 • You will only feel the smoothness of 5267.png Cross Rain farming once you get the Dimension Weapon + Crown combo, as it almost decrease the skill cd in half!;
 • Your damage will be mainly Holy! This means that you will not be able to farm comfortably some endgame maps like Biosphere B - Temple or Depth 1. With 6505.png Imperial Pressure this no longer will be a problem;
 • Cross rain has an animation lock once you use it! At first you will get annoyed but then you get used to it.

Skills, what to use and when

Relevant Skills

5267.png Cross Rain

Our main damage dealer, the skill that should in your prefered skill button as this will be the one that you will be pressing it all the time:

This skill has Holy property all the time, so unfortunately, if mob is immune to holy damage we almost cannot kill it!

6505.png Imperial Pressure

Our new skill that came just in the latest update (November, 2024). This skill has neutral element, but if use Guardian Stance it will be changed to Holy property. More on that later.

5260.png Attack Stance and 5255.png Guard Stance

IG can only use one stance at a time. Attack stance will increase your damage and lower your defences, while Guardian Stance will increase your defence while lower your weapon attack, so it has no offset for us!

5256.png Guardian Shield

This skill can only be used while in 5255.png Guard Stance and will create an absorbing shield for every party member in 21x21 around you! While farming you can maintain 100% uptime of this skill so you can become immune to damage in most farming scenarios below depth farming.

249.png Auto Guard

Activate this skill to receive a 30% chance to block incoming attacks, nothing more. Use skill, get chonkier. Love it.

2325.png Inspiration

One of our most important buffs. It improves all our stats in +30, gives flee and max Hp +20%, but it consumes hp and sp every 5 seconds. We can offset this downside using 2315.png Shield Spell or 50035.png The One Potion (50035) .

2318.png Prestige

One of our best buffs of it all! With this buff we can dodge every magic damage (almost like self GTB card). The gist of the skill is that the dodge chance is calculated by the following formulae:
(INT+LUK) x (SkillLv /20 * BaseLv/200) + SkillLv

Breaking down this, we will always have level 275 and Prestige at level 5, so the formula will be:

(INT+LUK) x (5/20*275/200)+ 5 = (INT+LUK) x (34,38%) + 5%.

So to get 100% magic chance we would need 277 points distributed in int and luk to get it. You can chase that with gear or while using 2325.png Inspiration, as it gives +30 in each.

5262.png Holy Shield

Our best free buff of it all. It boosts cross rain damage by almost 50% and increase our defences against the force of evil (Shadow and undead). Keep it up all time!

2315.png Shield Spell

This buff you will use depending on what you need at the moment.

 • If you are low on SP use it on level 2;
 • If you are low on HP use it on level 1;
 • If you dont need to recover use it on level 3 to increase your MATK!;

2313.png Vanguard Force

This skill is toggle, so just use it again in case you die!

What skills do I use to farm?

Once you start gearing your character and getting stronger, you will notice that sometimes you can ditch some buff because you already are overkilling what you are farming. Always adapt the buffs you need conform what you are hunting!

Basic of self buffing

Considering you will be needing all the buffs to start hunting, use all the buffs in this list, in no specific order:

 • 2313.png Vanguard Force (this is toggle, just use it once)
 • 5255.png Guard Stance (this is toggle, just use it once) (If you dont need the extra defences, consider switching this to 5260.png Attack Stance
 • 249.png Auto Guard
 • 2325.png Inspiration > 2318.png Prestige
 • 5256.png Guardian Shield
 • 5262.png Holy Shield
 • 2315.png Shield Spell

Once buffs ends, you will need to refresh them. To know which buff has ended you can keep an eye in the chat as it says in red per example "The Holy shield effect has been canceled";

If you dont want to keep track of every single buff, prioritize these:

 1. 5262.png Holy Shield
 2. 2325.png Inspiration > 2318.png Prestige
 3. 5256.png Guardian Shield
 4. 2315.png Shield Spell
 5. 249.png Auto Guard
Offensive Skills

You will be using 5267.png Cross Rain almost every time with very few exceptions. Your main strategy is to teleport, get the aggro of all the mobs around you and while they are almost on you, you make it rain to kill everything! Don't forget that this skills demands that you need to be in the screen to get kill account, so if you are doing kill quests like eden boards wait for the mob to be killed to get the credit! Thanks @Miku Kitsune, we only need to not be in a party for the kill count! YAY!

If you happen to encounter something holy immune (Novices in Bioresearch Laboratory, per example) you can use the following skills, as both will hit neutral magic damage:

 • 6505.png Imperial Pressure with 5260.png Attack Stance
 • 2321.png Genesis Ray with 2325.png Inspiration
Skill Tree Build

This is the skills that I use! Feel free to adapt conform your needs!

Stats and Traits

Stats

Generally, stats should be based on what best suits you. As such, I won't provide my exact Stat distribution, as you should update yours accordingly.

Int: Provides the highest bonus in StatusMATK. It also provides the second-highest reduction in Variable Cast Time.
Dex: Provides the third-highest bonus in StatusMATK. It also provides the highest reduction in Variable Cast Time from stats. Early on, you will want a lot of Dex, as your gear may not provide the VCT reduction you need. Later on, it will be a lower priority.

Luk: Provides the second-highest bonus in StatusMATK. Personal preference, but i usuaully go with more luk than dex, as it also increases our chance of magic dodge using prestige.

Traits

Traits are additional stats that provide bonuses for fourth classes. Traits are bit more straightforward:

SPL (110): Provides the highest bonus in S.MATK and your abilities will additionally scale off SPL.
CON (100-110): Provides the second-highest bonus in S.MATK.
STA (72): As we can dodge every magic damage, we can put all the remaining points into STA, as it will increase our Physical Resistance

Gear and farming progression

I've used Choi's Guide To Magic almost entirely to progress through every phase with very few changes. In every phase i will list the equipments expected to have and the changes made from his guide!

Phase Eden

At Level 100, you can talk with Labraham and Louis at @go Eden to get your Advanced Paradise Gear. These gears will require 7318.png Old Pick (7318) , 1034.png Blue Hair (1034) , and 7200.png Elastic Band (7200) .

Additionally, you can talk with Lucy in the same room to receive your Advanced Paradise Shadow Gear by renting it for 20 Eden Coins for 3 days or buying the set permanently for 230 in total.

Phase One

Moving forward, your main priority is to see where you can reduce your fixed cast time, and your second priority will be increasing your damage output (for now).

5267.png Cross Rain only has 1.5s Fixed Casting Time (FCT) and 2321.png Genesis Ray has 0.5 FCT and 6s Variable Casting Time (VCT), so at this point we should have at least 120 points in INT and DEX to help reduce 2321.png Genesis Ray VCT.

You should start progressing through the story to unlock all the maps and instances, and if this is your first character ever you will need to do it, so you can just buy the episode unlock with further characters!

With the phase eden equipment you can probably finish episode 16.1 Banquet for Heroes and start progressing through 17.1 Illusion. Episode 17 is the episode where you will start your farm adventure, probably hunting in Rudus 1, 2 and 3 looking for 25669.png Unknown Parts (25669) and 25723.png Cor Core (25723) .

Pro tip: Check Armor Weapon Tickets page to safely refine level 1 gear to +11.

Phase Two

At this point, we really need to get the 1.5s FCT so we can use Cross Rain to farm even faster. Focus on getting these first:

The final FCT required can be acquired these ways:

Or you can wait until next phase where we will get our +9[C] 470204.png Moan of Corruption [1] (470204) which will already give 1s FCT!

Once we get 1.5s FCT our focus should be getting our weapon ready! This will be the biggest damage jump for the lowest price.

Between the 450178.png Gray Wolf Robe [1] (450178) and the 450207.png Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207) , both options are great. Gray Wolf Robe [1] (450178) provides more damage and Snow Flower Robe [1] (450207) provides more tankiness. Personally I don't like to farm for amethyst fragments because it takes a lot of time to get all the ammount necessary and Oz Dungeon 2 does not drop anything useful other than the amethysts, but this is entirely personal preference.

Phase Three

Now it's time to start part of our endgame equipment! Our biggest focus in this step will be shoes, garment and dim glacier weapon! You will also start doing and understading grading and refinement. These wiki pages are good reads so you can understand how to self craft the following gear:

Be prepared to farm a lot. Serious, you will need something near 3k dim glacier boxes so you can fully craft your weapon lol.

Now you will notice that you will need tons of 984.png Oridecon (984) , 985.png Elunium (985) , 25731.png Zelunium (25731) , 25729.png Shadowdecon (25729) and 1000322.png Etel Dust (1000322) ! Phase Four

We're almost at End Game. Time to make some of the tougher gears. You can skip to Phase Five if you think you can comfortably get the Equipment from Constellation Tower (Hard), Alice Twisted Madness (Hard) and Depth 1 and 2.

What and where to farm

Level Map/Story Gear related Related maps Items to look for
240+ Clock Tower Unknown Basement Warper > Dungeons > Clock Tower Unknown Basement

(Ps: You need to walk there by foot the first time to unlock the direct warp. (c_tower1 243, 22024)

One of the best places to farm. You will get 984.png Oridecon (984) , 985.png Elunium (985) , 25730.png Zelunium Ore (25730) , 25731.png Zelunium (25731) , 25728.png Shadowdecon Ore (25728) and 25729.png Shadowdecon (25729) , which you will need a lot at this point. Awesome raw zeny too, by killing monster and selling the gear that drops here.
240+ Niflheim 2 Warper > Dungeons > Niflheim Dungeon > Climb the stairs going south and enter the portal Most of your grind will be on this map! Focus on killing Grotes as they drop 12103.png Bloody Branch (12103) which can be sold to players. Tons of 25730.png Zelunium Ore (25730) , 25731.png Zelunium (25731) , 25728.png Shadowdecon Ore (25728) and 25729.png Shadowdecon (25729) and raw zeny too. Go crazy but don't ks other people as it's rude!
240+ Constellation Tower 450173.png Nebula Robe of Spell [1] (450173) Warper > Instances > Constellation Tower Try to join a group of people to run this at the harder mode, but even if you cannot find it's good to run solo at least until Naght Sieger as you will need his souls to craft Nebula
240+ Alice Twisted Madness 410233.png Gambler's Seal [1] (410233) and 420213.png Ace of Spades in Mouth (Magical) (420213) Warper > Instances > Alice Twisted Madness Try to join a group of people to run this at the harder mode, but even if you cannot find it's good to run solo as the normal mode is easy
240+ Varmundt's Biosphere Death 480233.png Death Rune Manteau [1] (480233) Warper > Dungeons > Varmundt Dungeons > Biosphere A > east portal to Death Biosphere This is a really good place to farm. Tons of 25731.png Zelunium (25731) and 25729.png Shadowdecon (25729) , but your focus should be to deliver all the hunt 100 quests to get 1000643.png Death Rune (1000643) and 1001141.png Death Essence (1001141) . If you happen to cross the MVP and kill it is a free BSB! Yay!

Accessory (Left) 490065.png Brilliant Light Sapphire Necklace [1] (490065)

490053.png Sinful Sapphire Necklace [1] (490053)

Soon we will change these acessories into the varmundt and CT ones!

Phase Five

 1. 9 [A] 400530.png Time Dimensions Rune Crown(Imperial Guard) [1] (400530) &12 [A] 500092.png Dimensions Imperial Sword [2] (500092) (You NEED both at grade A, otherwise dim glacier is better)
 2. 11 [A] 470204.png Moan of Corruption [1] (470204)
 3. 11 [A] 480233.png Death Rune Manteau [1] (480233)
 4. 12 [A] 450173.png Nebula Robe of Spell [1] (450173) , if you haven't yet
 5. 12 [A] 470204.png Moan of Corruption [1] (470204)
 6. 410233.png Gambler's Seal [1] (410233) and 420213.png Ace of Spades in Mouth (Magical) (420213)
 7. Varmundt Rings (Varmundt rings will only be better than Brilliant/Sinful if you get 311958.png Intelligence of Varmundt Lv5 (311958) beyond lv 3, that is why the rings are bottom of the priority!)

Once we get the Hall of Life update, it seems that Nebula will be the better armour because of the new enchants!
