Thanksgiving Event

Overview

The Thanksgiving Poring is hungry and needs the whole community to prepare a feast.
Explore the Harvest Grounds, collect food and safely deliver it to the Poring before time runs out.

Event Schedule

During the Thanksgiving season, the event starts every four hours, check our planner in discord or ingame with @eventinfo.
Seasonal Event = Thanksgiving event
After the global announcement, the entrance remains open for 60 seconds.

Feed the Poring

During the preparation phase, food stations gradually begin to appear across the Harvest Grounds.
You may explore and prepare your route, but food cannot be collected until the Food Hunt officially begins.
The Food Hunt lasts 10 minutes. The comMUHnity must collectively reach: 1000 Feast Points
Only seven food stations are active at the same time. Active stations are visible and surrounded by a glowing effect.
The active stations change every 30 seconds. Explore the map carefully to discover where each type of food can be found.

Carrying Food

You can carry only one food item at a time.
The basic event loop is:

1. Find an active food station
2. Collect one food
3. Avoid the lava
4. Return to the Poring
5. Feed the Poring
6. Search for another active station

Your currently carried food is displayed in the chat window.
You cannot collect another food until the current one has been delivered or lost.

Feast Points

Different foods provide different amounts of Feast Points.

Pumpkin	2
Ripe Pumpkin	10	Ripe Pumpkins are rare and provide 10 Feast Points. They are also extremely heavy. Carrying one slows you down for 15 seconds, making the journey back to the Poring much more dangerous during lava waves.
Water	1	The wells have two different functions. If you are not carrying food, a well provides Water that can be delivered for 1 Feast Point. If you are already carrying food, the well provides Water Protection instead. Water Protection prevents your food from being dropped by the next lava hit. The protection is consumed after saving your food once.

Each delivery increases both the community total and your personal contribution.

The Floor is Lava

Random parts of the Harvest Grounds become dangerous during the Food Hunt.
A warning appears first:

The ground is heating up!

Dangerous areas are marked with red effects and map markers. After a few seconds, those areas become lava.
A lava hit:

• Deals damage
• May cause you to drop your food
• Can be blocked by Water Protection

Waves

• Normal lava waves have a 35 percent chance to make you drop your carried food.
• Every fourth wave is an Extreme Lava Wave.
• Extreme waves affect more areas and have a longer warning. They have a 70 percent food-drop chance.
• Every lava wave announces one temporary Safe Zone.
• Reach the announced Safe Zone before the lava activates. Players standing inside it are protected from that wave.
• The Safe Zone changes with every lava wave, so pay attention to the announcement.

Rescuing Dropped Food

When someone loses their food, it appears on the ground as a rescue object for five seconds.
Any participant with empty hands can collect it and continue the delivery.
If nobody rescues the food within five seconds, it disappears.
Losing food also resets your current Food Combo progress.

Poring Cravings

The Poring regularly asks for a particular food or food category.

• Poring suddenly wants GRILLED FISH!
• Poring suddenly wants SOMETHING SWEET!
• Poring suddenly wants FRESH FRUIT!

Matching deliveries provide double points for 20 seconds.

Food Combos

Delivering certain foods in the correct order grants bonus points.
The sequence must be completed without losing any carried food.

1. Thanksgiving Plate

   Steak -> Sauce -> Pumpkin or Ripe Pumpkin

   Reward 10 bonus points

2. Breakfast

   Pancake -> Coffee

   Reward 5 bonus points

3. BBQ

   Sausage -> Sauce -> Steak

   Reward 10 bonus points

4. Dessert Combo

   Cake -> Ice Cream -> Coffee

   Reward 10 bonus points

Combo points count toward both your personal contribution and the community goal.

The Growing Poring

Progress	Poring Reaction
0 to 24 percent	The Poring is still very hungry
25 percent	The Poring seems pleased
50 percent	Its belly becomes suspiciously large
75 percent	The Poring becomes enormous
100 percent	The Poring finally appears to be full

The Thanksgiving Poring changes as the comMUHnity fills the Feast Point bar.

Poring Burp

After every twelve deliveries, the Poring lets out a powerful burp.

Dessert Emergency

After reaching 1000 Feast Points, the Dessert Emergency begins.
The community has two minutes to collect: 150 Dessert Points
Only the following foods are available during this phase: -

• Cake
• Sweet Pastry
• Ice Cream
• Pancake
• Coffee
• Tea

Lava waves become faster during the Dessert Emergency.
If the community does not reach the Dessert Point goal in time, the feast fails.

Thanksgiving Feast

If the Dessert Emergency is completed, the Thanksgiving Feast begins.
Rewards are based on your personal contribution:
