=== Level 1-200 === | |||
# Complete the tutorial up until you get {{#item:7803}}, this will allow you to get up to 2x the EXP gain for both Base and Job levels; HOWEVER, you can only use it during levels 1-40. We will use this later to entirely skip the Rebirth process and speed up the rest of the leveling process. | |||
# Job change into Swordsman via the Job Master in Main Office (@go office_. Remember to allocate your stats mainly onto STR and DEX first and equip the {{#item:20307}}to get +1000HP, 20 HIT and +200SP | |||
# Proceed to Warper then go to Prontera Culvert (Dungeons > Culvert), kill the mobs there until you reach level 10 to be able to join the Eden Group at @go Eden. If you find the mobs inside the dungeon hard, exit to the portal and hit the mobs there instead. | |||
# Level up your {{#skill:7}}, as this will be our main skill to level early. | |||
# Proceed to Eden Paradise (type @go Eden). Then talk to the Purple Haired NPC named Lime Evenor. This will allow you have access to Eden Quests, Eden Starter Gear, and the Eden Vending Machine that we will use all throughout our time in the game. | |||
# Move to the upper right portal then go to the portal with "Paradise Equipment". This equipment will suffice for leveling from 1-200, or even up to 240+ if you're dedicated enough. | |||
# Talk to the hatted, blonde haired npc named Lucy to get{{#item:24687}}+ other Paradise Shadow Gear, a secondary set of gear that gives additional stats outside of the usual gear. | |||
# Talk to the brown haired npc named Lothaire to get your starter gear, {{#item:500032}}and the Paradise Physical Armor Set, {{#item:400137}}, etc. | |||
# Proceed to level to Base Lvl 45 in Sunken Ship (Dungeons > Sunken Ship). Hit all the mobs there up until Lvl 45. | |||
# Once you're at level 45, select "Take All" from the 40~69 Board in Eden for the Pirate Skeleton Quest. This will give us {{#item:25223}}that we will use to purchase consumables on the Eden Vending Machine. | |||
# Keep doing the quest up until you are Job Lvl 50, then change to Knight. | |||
# Go back to Paradise Equipment talk to the golden haired man named Labraham then get the {{#item:600020}}. We will be using {{#skill:1001}}, {{#skill:7}} {{#skill:62}} for Leveling. | |||
# Keep repeating the Pirate Skeleton Quest up until you get Base Lvl 85. | |||
# Once you're Base Level 85, take all the quest in the 70~99 Board in Eden, then proceed to Einbech Dungeon (Dungeons > Einbech Dungeon) to kill Pitman up until you get 15 {{#item:7318}}. We will need this to turn the quest that will give us our next weapon at Level 100. I highly recommend turning in this quest at least once before proceeding to the next step. | |||
# Once you reach Base level 90, take all the quest in the 70~99 Board in Eden, then go to Turtle Dungeon (Dungeons > Turtle Dungeon). Kill Spring Rabbits and Dragon Tail at the Turtle Dungeon Entrance until the quest is complete. '''DO NOT TURN IN THE QUEST YET''' | |||
# Move to the upper portal then kill Solider and Permeter. At this point you should be maxed level. If not just keep killing mobs until you are max level. '''DO NOT TURN IN THE QUEST YET''' | |||
# Go back to Sunken Ship then kill Pirate Skeletons until the quest is complete. '''DO NOT TURN IN THE QUEST YET''' | |||
# Go to Main Office (@go office) then proceed to Rebirth at the Job Master NPC. | |||
# Once you are a novice again, go to Prontera Culvert (Dungeons > Culvert) to level up Job Level 10 | |||
# Change into High Swordsman | |||
# Activate the {{#item:7803}}then turn in the Pirate Skeleton Quest at the 40~69 Board. It should be enough allow you to Job Change into Lord Knight. | |||
# Change into Lord Knight. | |||
# Turn in the 70~99 Board. This will make you Base Level 99 and Job Level 70 | |||
# Change into Rune Knight. | |||
# Kill any mob or re-login for your actual level to be registered by the server. | |||
# Once you're level 100, proceed to Paradise Equipment and get {{#item:600021}}from Labraham | |||
# Talk to the Pirate NPC named Roxanne at the rightmost side of Eden and select Take All. | |||
# Go to the Eden Vending Machine above Roxanne, and with the {{#item:25223}}we got from Eden Quests, prioritize getting {{#item:23204}}{{#item:23203}}{{#item:14534}}. This will give us a big boost in survivability. You may also want to get {{#item:12883}}{{#item:14766}}{{#item:23475}}if you have spare {{#item:25223}}. | |||
# Go to Illusion Moonlight (Illusion Dungeons > Illusion Moonlight) then kill any of the mobs there. Use {{#skill:1001}}, {{#skill:7}} {{#skill:62}}. Once you're at least level 12-15, use {{#skill:2005}} as your main leveling skill up to Level 200. | |||
# Turn in quest to Roxanne. Repeat the quest until Base Level 120 | |||
# Go to Illusion Frozen (Illusion Dungeons > Illusion Frozen) then kill any of the mobs there. | |||
# Turn in quest to Roxanne. Repeat the quest until Base Level 160 | |||
# Go to the 130~190 Board, and select Take All | |||
# Proceed to Verus (@go Verus or Towns > Verus) then proceed to the lower right portal. | |||
# Kill the Recon Robots in the tunnel and in the next proceeding portal until the quest is finished. | |||
# Turn in Quest to the 130~190 Board | |||
# You may repeat the 130~190 Board for Recon Robots or go to Illusion Teddy Bear (Illusion Dungeons > Illusion Teddy Bear) to spice leveling, up until you're Base Level 180. | |||
# Purchase 10 pieces of each {{#item:7436}}{{#item:7437}}{{#item:7438}}{{#item:7439}}by typing @ws 7436, @ws 7437, etc. If you don't wish to purchase, there's no supplies for the materials in the market, or just plain stingy, I highly recommend just spamming Recon Robots until Level 200, as they give big EXP and is relatively easy. | |||
# Talk to Roxanne NPC and keep talking to her until you turn in the quest rewards. | |||
# Congratulations! You are now a Dragon Knight. | |||

|This rune is essential to {{#skill:5213}} build as it gives a chance to QUADRUPLE the damage the skill deals. | |||
For the rest of the builds, this rune is not as necessary, but +30 STR is a decent boost. | |||

|This rune allows you to attack faster and deal a bit more damage. Having more ASPD allows you to attack faster and deal more DPS, and the {{#item:12729}}is one of the most potent ASPD consumables and is exclusive to Rune Knight, which makes it a solid rune to go for. | |||

Introduction
Dragon Knight is the 4th job variant of Knight branch, specializing in dealing large amounts of damage while being tanky enough to not instantly die. It is currently one of the best damage dealers in the game and its simple gameplay makes it engaging for both fresh and veterans alike.

Stats and Traits
This is a rundown on what each Stat and Trait does for Dragon Knight and its builds. If you wish to know certain stat allocations, please refer to Build Paths below.
| Stats | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| STR | Main Damage Stat; Additional Weight | Your primary stat. It affects your melee damage output the most, also useful for carrying more items |
| AGI | Attack Speed + Flee | Mainly used to increase attack speed. Also increases the potency of ASPD consumables. Such as Berserk Potion, Enrich Celermine, etc. |
| VIT | Max HP; DEF and MDEF | Makes you tankier and increases healing potency of consumables, it also decreases your chance to be hit by certain status effects. |
| INT | Max SP; Casting Time, MDEF | Mainly for you to be able to cast your skills more before using consumables. This also affects your casting time mainly used for Dragonic Breath. |
| DEX | Ranged ATK, HIT, MATK, Casting Time | Increases your HIT rate. Primary stat for Dragonic Breath as it increases your ranged damage and lowers cast time more than INT |
| LUK | Critical HIT, ATK, MATK, Perfect Dodge | Mainly used to increase Critical Chance. It is the primary stat for Critical Hit builds |
| Trait | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| POW | ATK and P. ATK | Your main trait; all of your 4th Job Skills scale with POW |
| STA | RES | Get this if you wish to be more resistant to Physical Damage. If you have access to Parry, you may skip out on this. |
| WIS | MRES | Get this if you wish to be more resistant to Magical Damage. This is usually more preferred as you have less MDEF than DEF. |
| SPL | MATK and S. MATK | Primary trait of Magic builds. DKs have no magic build so we skip this. |
| CON | R HIT, FLEE, P. ATK | Mainly used to increase your P. ATK. This is a tertiary trait for Critical Hit builds and secondary trait for Dragonic Breath. |
| CRT | H. Plus and C. Rate | Increases 140% BASE Critical Damage Modifier; 1 C. Rate = +1% Critical Damage, Secondary Trait for Critical Builds |

Level 1-200
- Complete the tutorial up until you get
Novice Battle Manual (7803) , this will allow you to get up to 2x the EXP gain for both Base and Job levels; HOWEVER, you can only use it during levels 1-40. We will use this later to entirely skip the Rebirth process and speed up the rest of the leveling process. - Job change into Swordsman via the Job Master in Main Office (@go office_. Remember to allocate your stats mainly onto STR and DEX first and equip the
C. Beginner Cap (20307) to get +1000HP, 20 HIT and +200SP - Proceed to Warper then go to Prontera Culvert (Dungeons > Culvert), kill the mobs there until you reach level 10 to be able to join the Eden Group at @go Eden. If you find the mobs inside the dungeon hard, exit to the portal and hit the mobs there instead.
- Level up your
Magnum Break, as this will be our main skill to level early. - Proceed to Eden Paradise (type @go Eden). Then talk to the Purple Haired NPC named Lime Evenor. This will allow you have access to Eden Quests, Eden Starter Gear, and the Eden Vending Machine that we will use all throughout our time in the game.
- Move to the upper right portal then go to the portal with "Paradise Equipment". This equipment will suffice for leveling from 1-200, or even up to 240+ if you're dedicated enough.
- Talk to the hatted, blonde haired npc named Lucy to gethttps://muhro.eu/flux/data/zrenderer_cache/item/icon/24687.png Paradise Shadow Weapon (24687) + other Paradise Shadow Gear, a secondary set of gear that gives additional stats outside of the usual gear.
- Talk to the brown haired npc named Lothaire to get your starter gear,
Paradise Sword (500032) and the Paradise Physical Armor Set,
Paradise Cap (400137) , etc. - Proceed to level to Base Lvl 45 in Sunken Ship (Dungeons > Sunken Ship). Hit all the mobs there up until Lvl 45.
- Once you're at level 45, select "Take All" from the 40~69 Board in Eden for the Pirate Skeleton Quest. This will give us
Eden Coin (25223) that we will use to purchase consumables on the Eden Vending Machine. - Keep doing the quest up until you are Job Lvl 50, then change to Knight.
- Go back to Paradise Equipment talk to the golden haired man named Labraham then get the
Paradise Knight Two-Handed Sword (600020) . We will be using
Charge Attack,
Magnum Break
Bowling Bash for Leveling. - Keep repeating the Pirate Skeleton Quest up until you get Base Lvl 85.
- Once you're Base Level 85, take all the quest in the 70~99 Board in Eden, then proceed to Einbech Dungeon (Dungeons > Einbech Dungeon) to kill Pitman up until you get 15
Old Pick (7318) . We will need this to turn the quest that will give us our next weapon at Level 100. I highly recommend turning in this quest at least once before proceeding to the next step. - Once you reach Base level 90, take all the quest in the 70~99 Board in Eden, then go to Turtle Dungeon (Dungeons > Turtle Dungeon). Kill Spring Rabbits and Dragon Tail at the Turtle Dungeon Entrance until the quest is complete. DO NOT TURN IN THE QUEST YET
- Move to the upper portal then kill Solider and Permeter. At this point you should be maxed level. If not just keep killing mobs until you are max level. DO NOT TURN IN THE QUEST YET
- Go back to Sunken Ship then kill Pirate Skeletons until the quest is complete. DO NOT TURN IN THE QUEST YET
- Go to Main Office (@go office) then proceed to Rebirth at the Job Master NPC.
- Once you are a novice again, go to Prontera Culvert (Dungeons > Culvert) to level up Job Level 10
- Change into High Swordsman
- Activate the
Novice Battle Manual (7803) then turn in the Pirate Skeleton Quest at the 40~69 Board. It should be enough allow you to Job Change into Lord Knight. - Change into Lord Knight.
- Turn in the 70~99 Board. This will make you Base Level 99 and Job Level 70
- Change into Rune Knight.
- Kill any mob or re-login for your actual level to be registered by the server.
- Once you're level 100, proceed to Paradise Equipment and get
Paradise Rune Knight Two-Handed Sword (600021) from Labraham - Talk to the Pirate NPC named Roxanne at the rightmost side of Eden and select Take All.
- Go to the Eden Vending Machine above Roxanne, and with the
Eden Coin (25223) we got from Eden Quests, prioritize getting
Brilliant Protection Scroll (23204)
Small Mana Potion (23203)
Small Life Potion (14534) . This will give us a big boost in survivability. You may also want to get
Almighty (12883)
Limited Power Booster (14766)
Infinity Drink (23475) if you have spare
Eden Coin (25223) . - Go to Illusion Moonlight (Illusion Dungeons > Illusion Moonlight) then kill any of the mobs there. Use
Charge Attack,
Magnum Break
Bowling Bash. Once you're at least level 12-15, use
Wind Cutter as your main leveling skill up to Level 200. - Turn in quest to Roxanne. Repeat the quest until Base Level 120
- Go to Illusion Frozen (Illusion Dungeons > Illusion Frozen) then kill any of the mobs there.
- Turn in quest to Roxanne. Repeat the quest until Base Level 160
- Go to the 130~190 Board, and select Take All
- Proceed to Verus (@go Verus or Towns > Verus) then proceed to the lower right portal.
- Kill the Recon Robots in the tunnel and in the next proceeding portal until the quest is finished.
- Turn in Quest to the 130~190 Board
- You may repeat the 130~190 Board for Recon Robots or go to Illusion Teddy Bear (Illusion Dungeons > Illusion Teddy Bear) to spice leveling, up until you're Base Level 180.
- Purchase 10 pieces of each
Fragment of Agony (7436)
Fragment of Misery (7437)
Fragment of Hatred (7438)
Fragment of Despair (7439) by typing @ws 7436, @ws 7437, etc. If you don't wish to purchase, there's no supplies for the materials in the market, or just plain stingy, I highly recommend just spamming Recon Robots until Level 200, as they give big EXP and is relatively easy. - Talk to Roxanne NPC and keep talking to her until you turn in the quest rewards.
- Congratulations! You are now a Dragon Knight.
Consumables
This will cover the consumables you may want to use all throughout the whole game.
| Runes | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Rune | Effect | Staple? | Notes |
| STR +30, 30% to increase Auto Attack Damage by 150% and Base Damage of Skill by 250% (125% for PVP) for 15 minutes | YES | This rune is essential to For the rest of the builds, this rune is not as necessary, but +30 STR is a decent boost. | |
| Increase Weapon ATK and Scaling ASPD for 15 minutes | MANDATORY | This rune allows you to attack faster and deal a bit more damage. Having more ASPD allows you to attack faster and deal more DPS, and the | |
| Significantly increases the damage of your next auto attack, has a chance to destroy your weapon by 20% | PVP | This rune is made for PVP, which allows you one-shot players with relative ease.
For PVE though, like other 3rd job skills, are outclassed by 4th job skills, and as such unneeded. | |
| 7x7 AOE skill around you. Can crit. | PVP | If This rune is irrelevant for PVE though. | |
| Remove and become immune to the following debuffs: Stun, Sleep, Curse, Stone Curse, Poison, Blind, Silence, Bleeding, Confusion, Frozen, Deep Sleep, Burning, Freezing, Guillotine Cross Poisons, Marsh of Abyss, and Mandragora Howling. For 60 seconds |
Situational | Allows you to cleanse and become immune to the status effects listed. Very useful in PVP, and certain PVE content. | |
| Consume 20% MaxHP. 30% of destroying weapons (Players) or decrease 25% ATK (Monsters) for 10 seconds [Bosses Unaffected] Increase DEF and MDEF for 15 minutes | YES | Makes you a bit tankier; it's one of the more optional staples but if you have the resources to spare, it is a solid rune to get. | |
| Randomly summon 2~4 shields. Shields share your DEF and MDEF and have 1000 HP.
Shield will be destroyed if taking more than 1000HP damage, but any excess damage will be ignored. Lasts 15 minutes |
Situational | This allows you to shrug off huge devastating attacks such as Betelguese's Tetra Vortex and other MVPs' signature attacks. The long cooldown however makes it less viable for longer fights. | |
| Increase INCOMING healing effects by 50% Decrease reflected melee damage by 50% for 15 mins | YES | Allows healing on you, including consumables such as | |
| Recover 60 SP every 10 seconds for 15 minutes | NO | Flat 60 SP every 10 seconds is useless. Avoid getting this if you want to conserve resources. | |
| +30% vs All Size, +30% melee and ranged damage, +30% critical damage, +30% MaxHP and MaxSP | MANDATORY | Your bread and butter rune. Highly boosts your damage (more than 50%) and make you tankier. While this is expensive to make, this is the Dragon Knight's signature rune and what makes the job an absolute menace in both PVE and PVP. | |

|---|---|---|
| Note: 120 is the usually the threshold for highest stat allocation efficiency, going above 120 is usually a loss barring some exceptions. | ||
| Stats | Allocation | Notes |
| STR | 120+ | Your main damage scaling for stats. Also increases your weight capacity allowing you to carry more items |
| AGI | 95-110 | Allows you to attack faster, which means you can output more skills for damage |
| VIT | 100-120 | Makes you less squishy. Having VIT at 100 renders you immune to certain status ailments (e.g. Stun) hence the 100 minimum. |
| INT | 70-100 / Leftover points | Allows you to cast more skills before replenishing it. |
| DEX | 1 | Your build is centered around dealing crits, and crits DO NOT MISS, hence DEX can be left untouched. If you are still in the early game though, feel free to allocate some DEX as critical chance is not abundant early in the game. |
| LUK | 120-125 | Increases your chance to deal critical hit damage. Decreases your chance to get hit by Curse status. Only allocate 125 LUK if and only if you run |
| Trait | Allocation | Notes |
| POW | 110 | Your main damage scaling for Traits. Max this one first especially if you are leveling. |
| STA | Leftover | Physical Damage Resist. Put leftover points if you want more tankiness vs. Physical |
| WIS | Leftover | Magical Damage Resist. Put leftover points if you want more tankiness vs. Magical. |
| SPL | 0 | You don't deal magic damage sadly |
| CON | 35 / Leftover | Mostly used for increasing P. ATK. Allocate your points here if you wish to deal more damage once you maxed out POW/CRT |
| CRT | 110 | Your secondary scaling for Traits. Increases your chance to deal critical hit damage, as well as increases your base critical damage modifier (C.Rate) (Ex: Base crit damage is 200%. Having 30 C.Rate makes it 230%) |

| STR | 100-120 | One of your main damage stats. Also increases your weight capacity allowing you to carry more items. |
| AGI | 70-110 | Allows you to attack faster, which means you can output more skills for damage. Prioritize this last as ASPD is prioritized less in the early game. Once you hit the late game, you need to hit at least 183 ASPD to maximize |
| VIT | 120-130 | Makes you less squishy. Having VIT at 100 renders you immune to certain status ailments (e.g. Stun) hence the 100 minimum. |
| INT | 100-120 | Allows you to cast more skills before replenishing it. This stat is also included for cast time reduction via stats (Int+Dex(2)=530) |
| DEX | 100-120 | Increases your HIT rate. In the early game you may prioritize this for smoother movement / kiting. |
| LUK | 1 | No need LUK as your skills cannot crit. |
Magical. |
| SPL | 0 | You don't deal magic damage sadly. |
| CON | 110 | Mostly used for increasing P. ATK. Allocate your points here after maxing out POW |
| CRT | 0 | You don't need CRT as it is mainly for critical based builds. Feel free to put leftover points here if you wish to get a non-significant damage boost |
