Kill the Guards.

To both sides, there's a Security Device at the north end of the rooms. There will be a word in brackets. Choose the appropriate colored version in the dialog choice.

Return to the center and enter the portal.
The same thing is repeated again in the next room. 
Enter the portal and kill the MVP.
Return while using the portal.
